Pitt looked awful in the first two series but seem to have it going now. Pitt with 14 straight. Panthers 14 Hoos 13 at the half.

If that is going to be your performance metric, you have to mention that 6 of the 14 schools played conference games. 3 guaranteed losses.

Virginia made good halftime adjustments and Pitt made some mistakes in the second half. It was all Hoos 30-14. Congrats on the win.

Virginia & BC looked good & were probably the most surprising. You knew Clemson was great & NC made a lot of mistakes but got a good win. Miami needs to clean things up as well. Its rough playing tough games in week 1, Virginia & BC handled it well.

Could have been a lot worse. It's not like we had losses to Georgia State, Wyoming, and Memphis like some other conference did

Chalk that up to the launch of the ACCN, where the league and ESPN wanted to put a challenging slate of games to kick things off. Looks like the ACC will go 4-4 OOC, without playing a single FCS opponent in Week 1. Probably all of the losses will be to teams that will be ranked this week, and maybe three in the Top Ten.

FSU losing to Boise is terrible.

The loss to UNC doesn't look great right now. Carolina might be decent this year but given their recent history it isn't a good look. Yes, I know we were their only ACC win last year. It was a terrible loss.

Carolina has always been able to recruit talent. The key for them them is having an NFL QB and a squad that is not prone to quiting on the coach. SC made some really stupid decisions but UNC still had to step up to win the game - you can win the Coastal on effort.

Just wanted to complement the hospitality of the NCSU fans at the game. Friendly folks. Tailgating and at the game were awesome.

Can we agree to never do a noon kick-off in August again below the Mason-Dixon Line again?

It started before the Mouse. Night games at State ended for all practical purposes with the addition of Pitt and Syracuse. Even the most horrible dirt bag ooc gets afternoon TV.

Nobody talking about UL vs ND? UL had the lead, but only down 21-14 at the half.

Louisville looks MUCH, MUCH BETTER than last year... but not good enough to beat Notre Dame (which still looks like a potential CFP team, IMO).
