I got seats comparable to what I had last season (though I had a much better selection choice than before), just due to the fact that I can't really justify spending $200 on seat membership fees. This season will be a test run, if I can get comparable seats in my preferred section I may hop off of the seat membership train.
I had the same experience and am in the exact same boat.

That's the TRUTH! The first four years we had great people around us. It was like family by year 4, we had nick names for each other, watched a new born grow and smuggled booze and food to feed an army every game. After the first resesting we upgraded and got stuck with some sloppy drunks that were to lazy to get up to go to the bathroom and would pisss on themselves. Then the last reseat we got the wine and cheese crowd around us and they were gone by halftime just about every game.

True Story. About two decades ago, I moved to NJ to take a position at the nuclear power plants on the Delaware River. Was there long enough to get two seasons of Philadelphia Eagles games, and got season tickets with some old Pi Kapp buddies up in the 700 section at the Vet. Not a nice place, and going to the bathroom inside the stadium was brutal. Long lines, comments if you took more than 10 seconds to evacuate, fights, chicks pissing in the men's room floor drains and sinks, basically the total breakdown of human society. Not our group, but guys we knew, would take external catheters and run a drainage tube down their pants leg to exit by their shoes. This was apparently pretty common in that section, as there was a steady flow of liquid moving according to gravity down the stadium. We even had special shoes (our worst) for game days, affectionately known as "piss shoes", that we would change into just prior to walking into the stadium, and removed immediately after leaving the stadium. Pretty effing gross.
I mention this, as to remind everyone that some folks grew into sports fans in places with such horrible hygienic habits, and unfortunately, was considered the norm. But it is offensive to bring those habits into our Stadium, where such a low standard should not be tolerated.

Well if Smitty's friends are in our building, I might be in deep trouble. I have great seats down low but down low just discovered a new hazard.

The people in real trouble would be the 3rd or 4th from the top of the lower level.

RE: Football Season Tickets
Heard Mike Golic tell a story of being at a football game where the urinal troughs were filled with ice. As he is relieving himself, a guy comes up next to him and screws his beer into the ice to keep it cold while he used the facilities.

There are about 841 season tickets left on the Y-not tickets page. There were over 3000 about a month ago. Things are looking much better.

Saw the ODU Football billboard beside I-64
"Tickets Still Available Starting at $99"
not to be tooooo picky but shouldn't it say SEASON Tickets still available.... or is "Season" assumed?

You are correct. Huge difference in perceived value of 6 games for $99 or 1 game for $99. Sigh....
