I have argued over the past couple of years the AAC has become equal with the Big XII and something like this would be a big step in the right direction for everyone involved.

I’ll take the Cotton Bowl vs Texas. But what does that mean, an unbeaten season and No. rating within the so-called “not ready for prime time teams?” Long way to go before I pack my bags.

Prolly, the chances of an AAC opponent being ranked this season are certainly greater than an OOC team.

NY6 bowls remain the same.

I don't think Texas reasonably expects to be in the CFP every season when it hasn't been in the national title conversation in literally ten years now.

I'm sure Texas would be thrilled with a non-CFP NY6 berth.
