Ignoring logic is what got you where you are today. Someday this investigation will close, and the conspiracy theorists will not be happy with the outcome, and they will display their dissatisfaction in protests and cries for a real investigation - one that has the results they want, and the results they want are NOT a finding that the Trump campaign had unsavory characters who had not lived pure lives. The result they want is to get Trump.
OO, I'm literally telling you my personal opinion and you're choosing to not believe me and how I view the situation. That's your prerogative I guess, but to chastise me for closing my eyes and plugging my ears, while you summarily dismiss my views is interesting, to say the least.
At least Tanq provides some rationale as to why he thinks I'm wrong.
I think you are wrong because you believe in things that are not true or logically demonstrable.
Like Trump is not the target, his campaign is.
Like somebody made a deal with the Russians to steal and publish emails, without any changes, innocuous emails that had no influence and somehow that perverted the election.
Like believing getting a man entrapped in a falsehood proves there is a conspiracy.
Like...well, you get the drift.
If I don't point out the logical inconsistencies in what you and others believe, I might as well sit in the corner nodding and saying Amen, Brother. Just like most of the Democrats.
I notice you have not taken apart my logical scenarios. I presume that is because you cannot. How do you prove a conspiracy with Russians to steal an election with decades old money laundering charges? Show me the logic in that.
Or just paint me a logic picture of how and when this conspiracy came about. When did Putin and (anybody) come to an agreement, and what was the agreement, and what was the quid pro quo?
yeah, if you were promoting a theory that UFOs from Area 51 were poisoning our drinking water so they could use us for cattle, I would ask you to explain that too. So far, I have gotten about as much about the Trump conspiracy as about the UFO conspiracy from the left.
The favorite lost. That is the extent of the evidence.
This post is a series of words that are connected but don't make much sense and don't actually address anything I've said.
Maybe that's why I "haven't taken apart your logic."
So answer these questions for me. Any of you other conspiracy theorists, feel free to jump in with your answers.
Who do you think colluded with Putin to steal the election?
I'm not willing to state who did/didn't. I do think there is enough evidence to warrant an investigation into this. From the numerous meetings that were lied about, to the change in Ukraine policy at the convention, to the evidence of Russian involvement with hacking and completing a misinformation campaign, to the evidence of Russia intelligence trying to cultivate assets in the Trump campaign, and so on.
Quote:When do you think they made the agreement for Putin to aid Trump's election bid?
Again, waiting for Muellers report. But so far the intelligence agencies have said that the Russian actions clearly favored Trump primarily by either attacking Clinton or supporting her political foes.
Quote:What do you think is the quid pro quo offered to Putin and accepted by him?
No idea, and no reason to try and speculate on something that could be literally anything.
However, I think it's clear why Putin wanted to interfere with the election - any action that diminishes the US's standing in the world is good for Russia as they try and gain influence. The current admin has harmed the relationships with most key allies, has constantly talked bad about NATO, and is now willing to pull out of Syria and let Russia fill the void.
Quote:Why do you think the chosen method was the theft and publication of emails that showed nothing important?
First, that was just one thing that was done.
Second, I think that Russia took what they could get, and knew that simply publishing the emails would make people think they were important. And putting private emails out there allowed for people to draw their own conclusions, and I think Russia knew that this would happen. I don't think they necessarily knew that such crazy conspiracies as the Comic PingPong pedo ring would develop.
I think their goal was to just put the information out there to create a sense that there was something hidden in the emails (because they were stolen), and to let the internet go to work and create a mountain out of a molehill.
Quote:Why do you think voters in Wisconsin et al changed their votes to Trump after reading the emails?
I've never stated that.
Again, Russia was involved with more than just the emails. They waged a misinformation war, which very likely caused some people to get out and vote and some to stay home.
But as I've said before, the outcome of the election should have had no bearing on whether this investigation went forward. The preponderance of connections, meetings, asset cultivation, etc. between the Trump campaign and Russia is what should have (and did) cause the investigation to start.
Not sure how many more times I'll to type that...
