Hell, Memphis can't get 30k to a Tiger game when it's 40 degrees and cloudy.

Love to see how this will fly on a 30 degree day for a bunch of nobodies.

The next alternative football league attempt should be a non-contact league. Someone should get a head-start (pun intended) on the NFL, since that's where it's headed (yes, another).

that all makes sense - if STL gets one, I suppose SD should as well,

as does a team in NYC or Chi for CBS......quite frankly, I'm surprised they announced for Memphis to be honest - though I think they're banking on the SEC West geography as well as UTK

I believe the US FL started as a Spring League and under the prompting of New Jersey Generals owner Donald Trump moves to a fall schedule as part of their collusion lawsuit gambit to force the NFL to take them in.

Had they stayed Spring Based they may have made it.

It is unfortunate that McMahon will compete with this one and he has his own media platform to put it on.

USFL was one of, if not the original, first of Trump's many public failures.

He killed it.

And he walked away with more power to his brand.

What's up K2. Football is meant to be played in the fall. As much as I love college football (Tigers), February and March is Tiger basketball time, not some gimmick football league. So no, I'm not salivating over another minor league team coming to Memphis, even if it is football.
