Excellent. Jones is the caliber of player Tubby needs to continue to recruit so we can return to relevancy.

I think Jones looks like a really good player. He for sure looks a lot better than any of our current players when they were recruits. They don't play the same position, but I think that he is a much better prospect than Lomax or Harris. Maybe most of the services are right for not ranking him, but based on what I've seen, I think he is going to be a great 4 year player.

This makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't a guru continually change rankings based on performance?, especially when a player is a full 8 months away from playing in a game.

I would hope that the reason is that there are some sort of final rankings at a certain date and they can't be changed after that date. If so, that is stupid. You should be able to change a recruit's ranking up or down until the day he enrolls in school.

Excited to have this young man. Looks like he will be an asset to this team going forward. Read an article about him that said he could possibly be his class Valedictorian. Very coachable, high basketball I.Q.

Myreon Jones is great pickup, good hands , good vision, a natural shooter

The thing to me is what this says to Tyler Harris.

I think it says, well, we offered but this is the great thing about working with Coach Smith is that if a kid doesn't want to commit we move on to the next kid.

Kennedy turned them into a consistent NIT squad that made a couple NCAAs...that's 'as good as it gets' for Mississippi.

I've learned to respect Larry from years of watching my Tigers battle his USM Golden Eagle squads.

I have no problems saying when it comes to talent evaluation I'll take the word Of Tubby Smith, Andy Kennedy, and Larry Eustachy over something called Jamammy and someones alias out trolling.

Chiozza was a solid college player that did all the dirty work...Made his team better on many things that didn't show up in the stat sheet. I just thought he would have blossomed a little more over time on the offensive end.
