To paraphrase: Democrats don't really want a compromise. They could have fixed these things under Obama if they were interested. Durbin's comments were intended to kill the possibility of compromise. They want to use DACA as an election plank in November. They have no real interest in those 800k people, just in winning.

If no one was willing to move to a country where they had no family, didn't know the language and had no secure form of income we wouldn't have an illegal immigration issue.

The Republicans are to being blamed a lot the last few years who will not do a bipartisan deals with the DEMS. The problem is not what the Dems do, but what the far right Republicans that are hurting the Republicans overall.

The Dems are in a tight place. If the Dems vote for the wall? They will get primaried out. The majority of the people of all parties do not think we need a wall, just a border security like border patrol agents, cameras and so forth. Illegals and drugs are still finding their way into this country, and it is not by foot anymore. Semi trucks filled with Illegals in the trailers, drugs coming in to the country by subs and so forth. Private planes and all that also are issues.

My post makes perfect sense when you view it through the lens of the liberal media, but you knew that and chose to ignore it.

So the lesson here is that if you don't agree with a law you can break it.

We need to hold them in FEMA camps until congress can decide what to do with them.
