The Tax Bill is signed
Going over to the senate now.

Passed by the senate, now going back to the house.

Passed by the house. Need the temporary spending bill to be passed for the president to sign it.

President has signed both the tax law and temporary spending bill.

227-203. Only Republicans to vote no were 6 from NY, 3 from NJ, 2 from CA and 1 from NC. All Democrats voted together.

Jones from NC votes NO on pretty much everything. The others were likely protesting the SALT tax deduction cap

Interesting tweet

Brooks: "I don’t expect the G.O.P. to be hurt by the decision to stiff its own voters. The historical pattern is clear: The less Republicans do for workers, the more alienated the workers become and the more they vote Republican."

Well, now they need to go back to their states and correctly protest their high tax rates there.

I just find it so odd that the government is going to give people more of their hard earned money and the liberals are so stupid they think its a bad thing.

If money is all you care about then it isn't a bad thing right now.

But that's all republicans care about right?

I don't find it odd at all that you guys are trying to frame it that way. This is anything but tax reform. It is a huge reduction in taxes for the extremely wealthy and large corporations. It is slight of hand for the middle class and working class. We'll see a little change in withholding in the short run and a tax increase in the long run. The GOP is hoping that a few dollars more in a pay check in Feb. will placate the masses while the donor class rakes it in.

Massive mistakes will have to be corrected. Hastily constructed bill leads to major mistakes very easily could make the costs 2.1 trillion.
