It seems just a few days ago there was all this excitement about multiple more ranked teams and 5 Tourney bids. Oh...that’s right. It was. doh!

Compher: signing 4-for-0’s in football at Job 1 before nuking an entire athletic department at Job 2.

It was a crappy day. But if this was all spread out over 5 or 6 days, it wouldn't have looked so bad. The fact that all the losses happened in a 12 hour period makes it sting pretty hard.
The conference can still right the ship if it can start picking up some big scalps in the next month. Looks like next Saturday is a pretty big day for potential big wins. Definitely can't be losing to Big East bottom feeders and other mediocre mids in the mean time.

UCONN has one of the ugliest offenses in the nation. Gonna lose this one badly. Sorry AAC. Ollie gotta go.
If UConn offered to make Geno one of the highest-paid coaches in men's college basketball -- we'll say in the $4-5 million range -- do you think he would consider it? I know he's turned down men's jobs in the past, but he's got about a 10-year window left in coaching and I believe he could win a championship for the men's team. And I'm sure Chris Dailey would keep the women's team near the top of the sport. Am I crazy for even suggesting that?
I'd be on board with that. But UCONN is a complete rebuild, and I doubt he wants to deal with that kind of mess at this point in his career.
How is UConn a complete rebuild. Hoops is not like football, you already have enough talent to win our league. UConn is just fundamentally behind.

RE: 11/26 AAC Basketball Games
In my forty years of life I have seen some horrible ECU basketball teams, My dad had season tickets for basketball during the Charlie Harrison and Mike Steele days and we sucked but at least we had some heart and when it was time to move on they where fired. How in purple hell is Lebo still here? I get it his contract but are we so small time we can't raise enough money to send this guy packing? And as for Mo same deal, I'm starting to believe that the administration is keeping these guys on purpose because there is no way in the professional world they would still have a job. I mean I never thought I would see a weekend where Memphis would drop 70 0n us and we get blasted by A&T.Oh well enough rant on to the next ass kickin.

The ECU student section was chanting "Michael Perry" with 00:34 seconds left. There is a mutiny brewing aboard the Pirate ship, this loss may have been the spark it needed.

Oh it's working perfectly if you are a long suffering ECU fan dreaming of a way to get rid of Lebo.
Take Ollie please.
You think it had anything to do with his family situation?
The divorce was finalized over 2 years ago. He just isn't a good coach. It's well known that he tries to be more of a bro than an authoritative figure.
I watched some of UConn's games this weekend. Never saw a team go through 3/4ths of a game with one assist. Stupid one-on-one basketball with Huskie guards trying to dribble through the entire defense only to throw up a low percentage shot with the other four UConn players standing around the perimeter as spectators. UConn has to be not only competitive, but also very good for this league to have a strong top half of basketball schools. Right now UConn looks lost as a TEAM, along with a crybaby and underachieving coach.

A weaker conference will benefit Cincinnati for sure.
You're probably asking for it when Cincinnati goes down.

RE: 11/26 AAC Basketball Games
Jesus mercy. This conference sucks at basketball. Honestly.
I wouldn't rule out 2 bids again. Doesn't seem like any chance at more than 3. And we'd basically only be getting 3 by adding Wichita.
The middle of this conference has lost to Drexel, St John's, Lamar, Lasalle, Arkansas by 35, Northern Iowa, and Western Kentucky. This is how you stay mediocre. If UC and WSU don't do some serious work OOC, we have virtually no shot at a Top 4 seed.
Today was not power worthy.

I wish I could walk onto the court and play. Alas, I can't. It's Tulane's first bad loss - if they can avoid other bad losses then it could be OK.
Tulane will beat Alcorn St. at home, and then go to UNC and get drilled. It is what it is.
