I'd crapcan the guy now while you still have the name. You can't wait to do it after you've missed the NCAA tourney five years in a row.

Firing a national championship winning coach (even with someone else's players) is no easy task for an athletic director, especially when the odds of replacing said coach with an even worse coach is much better than 50/50 odds.

UConn grew very spoiled under legendary coach, Jim Calhoun and the friendly confines of the Big East. The quick championship under Ollie reassured them (mistakenly) that the magic was still intact. I'll gladly be the first to say that there is no such thing as magic; it's all about the coach and there are only a handful out there that can get you back into a permanent top 25 spot. Oh, and they're gonna cost ya at least $2.5M+.

It's really weird how little Ollie is paid considering he's won a national championship. It's almost as if both he and the university are aware that he really isn't that good and the championship wasn't credited to him.

Uh...Ollie will make at least $3.3 Mil this season. That's Top 10 in the country.

So it's even worse than I thought. The administration has full faith in him. Whoopsies...

Nope. He'll be gone after this year if no NCAA tourney bid. Marshall has already contacted our AD with interest should the position become available.

There is no way he'll be "gone after this year" after signing a healthy contract extension only 8 months ago. He'll have to reveal his peen to get the boot. Buckle up puppies... this gonna be a loooooooong ride.

Now that Alabama has shown they can outscore a top 15 team 3v5 I’m actually inclined to believe we could split our team into groups of 3 and we could have 3 teams finish top half of the AAC.
