I wonder if it will be as successful and exciting as last time. I was blown away with excitement last time. Last time I came in on Friday to soak it all in. This time, I'll come Saturday and likely won't spend that much time at the event. To be honest it was a bit boring after awhile.

Will student be out in mass again when the bus gets there? Will there be a ton of students for Friday show?

It was a 10 excitement wise for me last time. I'm about 7 on the excitement scale this time. I'm glad it's coming back for prestige. It's just not quite as exciting to me this time as last.

Were there extra seats brought to BFS last time? This time?

I'd love to see 30,000+...that would be great

I think the enthusiasm will still be there. We have 10,000 new students and their families since last time. Others missed out last time and I think our local support continues to grow. And we are defending champs, 17 game winning streak and we need to win the game.

And I sure we hope do not take it for granted.

I sure hope they can get Charles Haley to be the guest picker this time. Highlighting an NFL HOF player from JMU would be huge if we have potential recruits watching.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if we have FB or MBB recruits visiting next weekend?

Will they be there for Thursday arrival and Friday like last time? Hope so, that may have been what made the weekend great for them in 2015.

I can understand it feeling that way to the hardcore fans. For casual fans and the average student though, I think this time will top last. Coming off a national championship and being on this win streak has the hype for JMU football much higher than it was for that Richmond game.

Even as a hardcore fan though, I'm almost more excited for this one. The first one, sure they said plenty that it was truly the best choice and all that, but it could've easily been mission accomplished for Lee bringing GameDay to JMU and they never come back. This one, you really know 100% that JMU is flat out good enough for ESPN to consider us the best choice. Plus I'm excited to see the turnout because I do think it will top last time.

This also seems to be causing some ODU fans to question why they're in FBS.

I looked at the 2015 game stats. UR came away with points on 10 of 12 drives (excluded final drive that just milked clock). JMU only 7 for 11. UR had a missed FG and one punt. That’s why we lost. One punt all game. It was one of the worst defensive games I’ve ever seen.

The Spiders are jealous...the ODU folks are pissed that they're not Virginia Tech. Credit to the ODU crowd for not being pu$$eez.

I read there will be UVA fans at CGD with signs, per message board. Should be a fun time for all attending. I will be watching from the Philippines.
