College Gameday at JMU?
Hey, let's make it happen. Lee Fitting, producer of Gameday is an alum and it would be amazing if we could tweet him and get him to consider it for the JMU Richmond game.

It has been a historic season thus far and would love to make this happen somehow. let's go for it!

Why the Richmond game? We should ask for a game on JMU's campus. The Villanova game would be ideal because of Villanova's national name recognition.

RE: College Gameday at JMU?
Was going to bring this up. I already tweeted about this yesterday. It's a pretty boring week Oct 24 elsewhere in FBS with Texas A&M/Ole Miss the only real competitor. After A&M loses to Alabama this Saturday, it'll be even less appealing.

Undefeated JMU, rivalry game with Richmond, Homecoming. Let's get it on their radar and factor into the decision!

I've got a friend that works for the Gameday crew every week...I'll ask to see what he thinks.

Good points all, Horny! Except Richmond is playing on JMU's campus. We call it Homecoming. 04-cheers

Would be HUGE. I was at grad school at WVU when they came there and the buzz was on campus all week. I'm not sure where they'd sit up but I would be there all morning.

Either somewhere near Plecker or on Godwin field I'd assume

Right in front of the APC would be perfect. Fill up the non-lot portion of Godwin Field with students, and have a sea of tailgating in Godwin Field, P Lot, G Lot and Hanson Field behind everything.

Please please please.

There's a realistic chance- it's not a very good week for football at FBS and FCS- this would likely pit two teams with one loss between them for first place in CAA.

Rely on our coaching staff to get er done and rock out w our already awesome uni swag and locker room tour during their visit

There's not a lot of great games that day for them to choose. I would guess A&M (if they beat Bama) and Ole Miss is the top choice.

I think Haley being there helps our chances tremendously. Otherwise I would say it's just a pipe dream.

Why not on the quad right in front of Wilson? Wilson Hall is probably the most iconic shot of JMU's campus and that area will be picturesque in late October. There's also a TON of space there for everyone to pack in.

Question though: has espn ever showcased a school not playing their game on one of their networks? That might be our downfall

Yes I know they've been at a lot of SEC games that aired on CBS as well as some Notre Dame games that were on NBC.
