Dang it. Moving back up to VA in a couple weeks, so I put our tickets up for sale this past week once CGD looked like a no go. Forgot to take them down once the chances started increasing last night. Sold by the time I got to StubHub to take them down (sold about 3 minutes after the announcement). Guess I'll just watch on 5 different devices to help drive up viewership...

Without question. VU is our toughest opponent remaining this season. Their defense is the toughest we'll face this season.

I cringed when the team walked out back in 2015. I immediately thought, "ugh shouldn't you be focusing on a football game?". The result unfortunately backed it up later.

The gigantic difference between this time versus 2015 is we have a defense that is lights out. 2 years ago we just hoped we could outscore the Ticks. This time around I hope the offense can put up 17 pts because hopefully that is all we will need.

MH has already locked the damn gates. Seriously, he has commented that the team will not be participating in CGD buildup or parading through campus. That was a mistake last time. Most important thing about Saturday is a win against Villanova.

He's doing it the right way, that's for sure. I also doubt he'll show up on the GameDay set and show off a new helmet for the game.

Glad that Coach Houston will keep them focused. We don't need another let down like last time. I hope JMU impresses even more this time than last time and come out with a statement win.

I think if we score 49 points this time, we win. I am beyond excited to hang with Lee, Kirk and the fellas on the quad again.

it was probably a mistake having the players on CGD, but i don’t think it would have mattered. our D wouldn’t have sucked any less. they had major, major issues. don’t see that happening this year, although obviously i’m happy the players won’t be present this time. now the offense needs to do its job. Step 1 - don’t turn the ball over. do that and we win, period. we can still win if we turn it over, but it’s a slam dunk if we don’t.
