At least they're up front about it. Some of the Troy players got a little frustrated with App's defensive players for hitting hard and "through the whistle play", I'd say Ark St. plays through the whistle a hair longer than our defense.

Actually the biggest problem the past few years has been inability to let **** go. Someone shoves you, by god shove him back. Someone calls you an mfer, call him a c-sucking mfer. I've been on the sidelines I've seen it, I've heard it and the pinnacle was the USU game. Aggies got in their heads and never once did the officials notice the punch, the shove, the facemask, the spit that lead to the response.

Push clean play past the limit against AState and we will give you all the yards you want. Play clean against us and it will be fast moving game with few penalties.

Yep. And frankly the stupidity probably cost us that game. If we'd won that week we'd probably righted the ship sooner as well.

Disagree. If we had beaten USU or UCA, there never would have been the soul searching and final admission that what they were doing in scheme and play calling wasn't getting the job done. If we had stayed on that path, we aren't 5-0 in league.

I suppose that's another way to look at it.

Would have kept Mohajir from his "film session."

I'm putting the "film session" up there with "Ga State Halftime" in the Mohajir Hall of Fame.

When we build the AState Hall of Fame Museum there needs to be a hologram of TMo doing the GaSt halftime speech in 2013

RE: SBC Championship Game Discussion (stAte vs. Troy)
I will say that all of us do an awful lot of spinning as to why our team is better than our final scores. Turnovers, special teams mistakes, sitting on the ball, resting starters most of the game, treating OOC games as preseason and just effing around in general early, we were looking ahead in that game, this rivalry game doesn't count, we spotted them points on short fields so it doesn't reflect who we really are even though it's happened a lot, we're not gonna see an offensive or defensive line that big again so we're probably good, we're really good but we've made a ton of mistakes all year and haven't really gelled at all but it certainly comes together this week against you guys whoever you are...

It seems like this is the year for it. At least for Troy, APP, and ARKT fans. I can't help but laugh at how we all do it. Thursday will be fun.

I couldn't agree more. Line 'em up and let's play. Winner wins and loser loses. No excuses.

I agree. His cheese slid off his cracker.
No one is intentionally trying to injure anyone.
If he has proof, he needs to share it. Otherwise it's close to slander.

I wondered if we had been watching the same games when I saw his post. There have been issues in the past. But it's been over a year since I saw something on the field that I felt was out of line. I figured we have turned that corner.

I feel you, chief. I do think our defense is as good as yours or very close to it. We can't give you short fields though. As I've said before, all things equal, I think we're a better squad at this point, but there are intangibles in play that could work in your favor.

Difference between our defense and App's is App plays a very clean game. We play dirty. Our goal will be to hit Silvers hard to disrupt is rhythm and try and knock him out of the game. If that costs us a personal foul...so be it.

We won't target usually...but we will hit hard and we will hit after the whistle.. It's the hallmark of a Blake Anderson team.

Chiefsfan, you're a real idiot for making that kind of comment. ASU doesn't play dirty and try to intentionally injure a opposing player. Most of our personal fouls have been the result of our players not knowing when to keep their mouths shut or being caught retaliating after provocation. And I am happy to say for ASU that those types of penalties are way down this year.

Now ASU will try to hit the opposing ball carriers hard. That is a part of it when you play TACKLE FOOTBALL. But they still try to do it within the rules of the game.

Well...everyone likes to say we play dirty, so why not just admit it for fun and see what happened?

I mean, the other approach is saying we play hard nosed physical defense, which we do and have been really good at getting hits on the opposing QB, and then get told by someone else its because we play dirty.

You guys take stuff I say far too seriously. I mean, I don't even take a quarter of what I say seriously.

Dude just likes to be making noise, for the sake of making noise, across every known message board in the galaxy.

On most days, I'd like to smash his keyboard with a hammer.

If I gave you the hammer, would you do it and let me videotape it?

I think it would be a great video.

For fun to see what happens? What happens is that Troy fans tweet it to encourage their players to take out a knee.

You could have just asked.
