I don't really concern myself too much with what Africans do in Africa. I figure it's up to those folks to figure out/fix their own problems. Same way I generally concern myself with what my family is doing and not so much for someone the next state over. That is kind of how it works. I've never been a "Save the Whales" type of guy. That's fine for dealing with your family...it's not how you attack an STD or STI
Jeez, and here I thought that you could say AIDS free if you didn't have anal sex/sex with a person infected with the disease....... or if you did have anal sex with someone with AIDS, a condom would likely keep one AIDS free. Oh, I forgot, don't use an AIDS infected needle to inject drugs into your bloodstream. Think these things might work?
What am I missing?
Um, people have sex...and unless you run blood tests on every partner, your playing Russian Roulette.

That's because 97% are hetero, at least here in the U/S... Go off percentages though, see what ya get.
You do know over 80% of AIDS cases come from outside the US right?
I'm sure most of that is from Africa, where AIDS originated. I'm talking about hetero vs homo within the U/S though. I won't be humping any African females, nor any other foreign females so my concern is within the U/S, and I'm sure I speak for most on here when I say that.

Absolutely. Africa is not my country to worry about, so I'll worry as much about them as they worry about me. However, I'd still like to see the numbers in percentage form, for AIDS among hetero and homosexuals in the U/S. I really, truly, sincerely do not care about Africa.

I've only been with one girl in which I'd worry about because I know she was slut, had been since the mid 90's when I met her. But my exwife had been with one guy before me, and the same with my current GF. I took my HS Sweetheart's virginity so I didn't have to worry about her either.

lol, it's 100% accurate...you simply don't like it since it doesn't fit your paradigm...most AIDS cases come from sub-saharan Africa...most cases are females and they get it from straight sex.

Sub-Saharan Africa
Sub-Saharan Africa has been devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. While only 10% of the world's population lives in sub-Saharan Africa, an estimated 70% of all HIV infected adults and children are found there (Table 1). Heterosexual sexual transmission is predominant and sub-Saharan Africa is the only region where more women than men are infected. Patterns of sexual behaviour whereby young women have sex with older men, in combination with high susceptibility to infection in very young women, has resulted in extremely high infection rates in young women in some parts of Africa11. The inaccessibility of antiretroviral treatment in this region means that the vast majority of HIV infected people die around 8–10 years after infection, with tuberculosis being the most common AIDS-related illness. In the year 2000, 2.4 million adults and children were estimated to have died from AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
Of course the females get it from straight sex. Their partners, however, get it from gay sex. Male on male rape is a symbol of power in those cultures, much like in prison. This is well known, but unspoken, and sure as hell not reported to the WHO. The leadership in those countries are scrambling and will institute laws that make Russia look like the Utopia to gays in order to eradicate it. Only an idiot would trust those stats. The US stats, however, are reliable. It is a gay disease.
I guess you can't read...

Sorry, but most people have been brainwashed into speaking matter-of-fact about condoms being some saving grace. They aren't. You'll never get most people to use them because they take away the pleasure, so what's the point really? Teenagers can brag that they scored, but there is really no point to a mature individual wearing a condom. Us heterosexuals don't have to worry about AIDS, thankfully, and there are better ways to prevent pregnancy. Just underlies the dangers of homosexual behavior.
Yet the vast majority of world wide aids cases come from hetero sex.

Still playing games w/ the facts.
Bisexuality started the pandemic, and still contributes greatly to its propagation. That doesn't disagree w/ anything in your little blurb.

Hence the "wear a condom" advise or as you said - play Russian Roulette. However, the Roulette player ultimately has no one to blame but themselves - they chose...........and lost if AIDS crops up.

No, they are not conspiring, they are using the data available. That data is about as reliable as Saddam Hussein's 99% election victories.

(01-13-2014 08:16 AM)EverRespect Wrote: Quote:Having suffered a major setback when Phil Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” got his job back, the gay lobby is now going for a softer target – a pro-family activist in Ohio whose book, “Maybe He’s Not Gay,” undercuts their recruitment efforts among kids.
Author Linda Harvey, who runs a pro-family ministry called Mission America, seems to have emerged as more of a target than Phil Robertson.
Robertson was suspended – then reinstated – from the show after making comments critical of homosexuality, some of them based on biology and the facts of life, and others on Bible passages.
The “Maybe He’s Not Gay” book “seeks to tell kids the truth about homosexual behavior,” Harvey says. It explains in a conversational tone why no one is born homosexual, the health risks associated with the lifestyle and factors that may lead to same-sex attractions.
Harvey asserts that the homosexual movement is revolutionary and designed to overturn traditional cultural values. “It’s a revolution, both inside the minds and hearts of today’s youth – and in our culture,” her book says.
In response, the pro-homosexual Huffington Post attacked the book as “potentially dangerous” because it suggests children don’t have to engage in dangerous homosexual conduct and that parents can influence how their children turn out. The publication also claimed that Amazon had “pulled” the book in response to homosexual criticism.
