The Monarchs are now 22-6 (7-2), and with 27 games remaining, have now passed the halfway mark of the 2017 season. Congratulations on a fantastic first half! Hopefully they will reach the 40 win mark (maybe more) and an NCAA berth. Rooting hard for the Diamond Monarchs!

Adam Bainbridge was awarded as CUSA pitcher of the week following his complete game, four-hit shutout of Charlotte. Bain is 6-1, 3-0 with an era of 1.31, and 1.03 in conference.
I watched him pitch the game against Charlotte and he was very impressive, to say the least.
Finally got some votes in this week's Coaches Poll. Ranked 41st with 7 points.

Strzelecki in to take over from Maquire in the 3rd.
Down 11-2 now in the 4th. Time to look to tomorrow at VMI.

ODU has a contract with UA for FB and both basketball teams. Other sports can get gear from them at a discounted rate but don't have to. That's how I understand the arrangement.
