Says Craft is committed to Purdue. Has that changed? Is he undeclared during signing period in December? Would like to think we have a shot at him. He can make more of an impact at Toledo than he will at Purdue. Small chance Purdue will be in the hunt for a division championship in his time there if he signs with Purdon't.

Ought to jump in 0n Tyrone Sampson Jr from Detroit. One of the nation's top Centers. He was an early commit to Syracuse, but decommitted on Early Signing Day. UM and MSU are currently not involved in his recruitment. Indiana and UCinn are schools that seemed to be in play.

I get worried when I see a player decommit from a school like Syracuse on signing day or close to it. Seems that may be he had some grade issues and was told he wouldn't get a letter of intent to sign. Someone we should look at though as we have had luck with some late or partial qualifiers in the past. If there was some larger P5 schools I would think he may be waiting for a signable offer from them, but not Indiana or UC.

As far as I can tell he is verballed to PU but has not signed an NLI yet. Interesting thing is that Purdue only signed 1 LB in the early period, so it's not like he got squeezed out.

Felt he committed too early in the process. Wants to check out a few school before he makes his final decision.
Looks like UT has offered another JUCO LB, Tyree Thompson from LA Valley College. Seems he was at Sacramento State for a while before his trip to JUCO. Was a 2015 HS grad out of LA.

Looks like the type of LB we need badly! Attacks the ball carrier and doesn't block himself by running square into OLineman like our '17 crew.

He was having a huge senior season when he broke his leg in one of his last games. So, he Red-shirted this year. Junior year he went for 2,015 yards and 31 TDS. And the week before he broke his leg, he ran for 373 yards and 6 TDS against Perrysburg.
Actually he got injured earlier in the year than I thought. Through the first 4 games his senior year, he had already rushed for 1,096 yards and scored a mere 21 TDS.

6’1 and 230# at LB and he’s a preferred walk-on? Why not a scholarship here or somewhere? What’s the scoop here? From that picture he certainly looks the part...would be fantastic to add a another LB with size that somehow flew under the radar.
