Good! Most times I want our opponents to win, but not XU. Glad to see them exposed as I couldn't figure out how they were considered top 10. Have a good feeling we get back on the winning track against them this season.

I thought it was a Federally mandated rule at this point that we lose to XU?

Not exactly, the UC-XU provision was written in as part of the Trans-Pacific Partnership which the US was prepared to ratify. However, not all the countries that were part of the TPP were likely to approve the treaty. As it stands, the TPP is already dead in the water; the fact that our incoming president is opposed to the TPP has put the final nail in the coffin.

Somebody get Trump on the line...I want these terms renegotiated.
Iowa State struggling mightily at Iowa right now. Down 23-12. They haven't looked good at all, but its early.

Would be nice if Iowa State can stay in the Top 25.

UC cast the poor shooting spell on them and they still haven't shaken it off?

nope
Yeah. Not feeling quite as good about our big win. I'll take it, don't get me wrong. Iowa was 4-5 and blew them out.
Iowa/Iowa State is a pretty big rivalry...and it was at Iowa.

I wouldn't write ISU off because they just lost to their biggest rival on the road.

I prefer to believe that we just broke them like wild horses.
SEC's Vanderbilt took quite a beat down 48-71 to Middle Tennessee.
I see Leito is back at DePaul. He should have never left.

On the flip, had we lost how would that look now? Iowa St. is in a mini-"funk" losing 3 of their last 4 games but they only lost on the road to the Zags by one point I believe. They lost to us by one point in OT. That's a close margin of losing vs. winning. At the end of the day, they will win their fair share of games especially at home.
Houston stadium still basically empty vs RI.
Ohio St 64

Ollie gets away with being on the court during play more than I have ever seen. He was guarding Cuse in the corner for most of their game. Out on the court under 1:00 with OSU trying to get up the court. And of course standing in the way against UC.
Michigan and UCLA keeping the scoreboard operator busy.
Half:
UM 50 (12-16 from 3)
UCLA 50 (10-14 from 3)

...so..UCONN smells this year...what's up with that?
Our next opponent Texas Southern is probably pretty bad, but they've done us some favors. They've played 0 home games on the season and already have 4 wins including @Rice and @Lasalle. They still play @LSU,@Baylor,@TCU. It has a chance to end up a top 100 win.

Damn... it looks like he's squaring up for a 3-pt shot.

I get that they're allowed to walk out onto the court a bit, but I don't understand why that is. It just leaves the potential for this stuff to happen and doesn't draw a hard line as to where you can or cannot go. If bench players can't do it, neither should coaches.

Same should be the case with football. They should have a buffer area so Mike Tomlin can't trip any other players.
Kevin Ollie irritates the hell out of me -- I think it's because of his demonstrative coaching style and that look he always has that he can't help. A lot of people dislike Cronin for similar reasons though.

Resting Ollie Face.

He constantly looks like he's about to ask "Who farted?".
