I just want to know how that whiner gets away with going so far out on the basketball court while the game is in progress. if Mick or Huggs, or heck anybody else did this it would be an instant T...smh
That tO$U/Purdue game with coach Calhoun doing color was a real dog. The B10 sucks. Only 3 ranked teams with Indiana at 25 and 0-2 in the league. A Purdue loss would have helped us in the rankings but I enjoyed watching tO$U choke at home in front of a half empty arena.

Good summary and I agree. IU surely will drop out of the top 25 next week after three straight losses. Penn State gave one away at Michigan earlier this week so the Wolverines are no world beaters (and we know the Nittany Lions aren't). And Purdue might have fallen from the rankings had they lost in Columbus.

OSU built an arena big enough to feed their institutional ego but much too large for that basketball program. Yes, I'll admit they have history and tradition but the passion just isn't there for Buckeye basketball. They are not KY, UNC...or even Louisville in that regard.

Half. ESPN2.

Does the Uconn women's team beat the Men's team right now? Do the Cleveland Browns beat the Uconn men in a game of basketball played with a football? What does Kevin Ollie look like after a dubious pass interference call?

I want answers.

Yes, No, Like a guy who just smelled a fart.

Hey, that's my line! 04-cheers

When the team is highly ranked and winning they do fill the place, but having an arena that big also allows them to bid for concerts and other entertainment. They are constantly competing with Nationwide Arena to get concerts... Hell my high school graduation was at the Schott. Those are all revenue streams that I assume go into OSU's pockets...Something that UC should be thinking about.

About 8 years ago, Mrs. QSECOFR & I saw Sir Paul McCartney at the Schott. There are MANY events there. Basketball is just one of them.

We should at least be doing what NKU does with BB&T Arena. I've seen several concerts there and, minus the hassle to get out of the parking lot, had a positive experience.

Now, if KISS wants UC to remove the first several rows of seats in our arena to accommodate their pyro equipment, then we obviously need to draw the line. 05-stirthepot

Michigan State has moved past early season jitters to full blown tire fire. For the strides they made in football, the B1G is absolutely atrocious in basketball this year.
Strides they made in football? The entire Big 10's big wins out of conference were less than what Houston accounted for. Looked more like a league of hype.

League has been shut out in the playoffs two straight years as well, 69-0.
UCONN slams UCF 64-49. Not any/many good wins for UCF, not sure how good they are just yet.
Unbelievable comeback.

That game was nuts...UNM went 4-10 from the FT Line in the final minute.

Didn't New Mexico blow a huge lead for the conference title a few years back too?
