I was skeptical of UCLA's ranking since they always seem to be overrated. But man they are good. Scorers everywhere. Up 9 second half at #1 Kentucky.
Half:
(6)UVA 25
(25) WVU 24

I saw this game on Thursday I believe.

Looks eerily similar.
After a couple of down seasons Huggins has that WVU program rolling. Dude is still a masterful basketball coach.
Xavier got rolled in the second half by a good Baylor team and ended up losing by 15.
Baylor beats X by 15. They are pretty good.
Baylor is really good.
UK has lots of talent, but they are weak down low and have a thin bench. I think most of the elite teams (Duke, UNC, UCLA, Nova) would not have any problem neutralizing them and beating them.

Exactly. Exposed.

I was looking at their schedule this year and they do not play a single game out of conference at the oponents home court. Yet they get praised for great scheduling. It may hurt them in March.

I watched that game. Baylor is tough. Mack completely killed any chance xu had of coming back by putting out a lineup that consisted of omara, gaston, Bernard, sumner and macura. basically sumner was the only scoring option (macura couldn't hit a shot all day) and Baylor went on a run. Hopefully mack tries to run that lineup in the shootout. Their bigs are awful.
Did the men's hoops team rape girls too or was that just the football team at Baylor?
UConn takes down Syracuse.

It was the football players raping everyone. The Basketball players just murder each other.

Uconn looks like the worst coached team ever. They miss free throws, take ill advised threes, and unnecessary shots in the last few minutes.

Ollie will have to right the ship quickly, I can't imagine they'll tolerate a loser for very long.
With the talent they're pulling in, the only explanation that surfaces will be the ineptitude of the staff.

Someone watching the Bearcats at Iowa State might make the same observations about our game. But they did beat Syracuse. That's a win we'd be proud of around here.

Isn't UCONN without two starters due to injuries? If ever there was a season for UC to take the AAC and make a statement this is it. We should expect no less. If UC keeps improving as the season progresses, they're showing signs of a team built for a deep run in March.
Three players out for the season
UConn is still formidable with Brimah in the middle. Their problem is the only have 8 schollie players and some are frosh. Outside of their lack of depth, they will
only get better as the season progresses. Cuse was a big win.

Brimah is averaging 6 pts and 5 rebs per game. Last night he had 2 and 4 with 4 blocks. He is a complete liability late in the game because he is a horrible free throw shooter. I would not call him formidable at all.
