I say we give our offensive coordinator a shot too. Maybe he can keep the success train rolling.
I would think about getting another defensive coordinator...perhaps a linebacker coach from Missouri...or the Odom from Missouri if he's available.

*edit* I also wouldn't be averse to Charlie Strong. I think he needs to be coaching a mid-sized school like us as opposed to a heavyweight like Texas.
I don't think his tenure at Louisville was a fluke.

That won't happen. The U of M currently has a president in place who has no interest in breaking free from the BOR.

actually I'd try Kendall THEN Babers..as their offenses are similar...but Kendall has the Baylor offense busting at the seams this year...it seems to be performing even better than it did before him.

If VT happens, with first hand exposure to the Tidewater (Norfolk, Hampton, Virginia Beach) area that VT formerly dominated, it would be interesting (but sad for me) to see how he attacks the recruiting here. Shortly after signing date, Shane Beamer was unable to coolly mask his frustration with the haul here on XM's College Sports Nation. That they no longer dominate the area, in my opinion, is a big reason why VT slipped over the last four years.

Reading between the lines, he thought they had Josh Sweat (Top Ten recruit) in the bag, but he signed with Alabama.

Maybe we could steal Arky stAte's head coach..just to piss them off LOL.

I just doubt the ability to snag a HC from anywhere just yet, but I'd still call Babers and Brohm, Anderson...etc.

Monken at Southern Miss is another good one.

A reason I'd like to see Fuente in the Miami job --- if he can get it.

I think any open ACC job is a good one to start a P5 career. Better than South Caroline and the SEC I'd think.

It has been proven you can win here and the AAC is without doubt the best conference outside of the P5. We can coaches from schools in conferences like CUSA and MAC...
