Hilland signs with the Dolphins.
Chris Durant signs with the Chargers.
Congrats to Connor and Chris! I expect we will hear something about Caskin soon too. Anyone know if Stephens talk with any teams?
Not sure if you guys saw it, but UR QB Lauletta was drafted in the 4th round by the Giants...so most of us can keep rooting against him.
From Dolphins blog on Connor.
Hilland is powerful, but he is heavy footed and does not pull well. He could be a practice squad candidate if he shows improvements throughout the summer.
Dolphins fan here. Miami's offensive line, beyond the starting tackles (Tunsil & James) and starting center (Kilgore), is a trainwreck and a revolving door. There is definitely room for Hilland to impress and earn a roster spot, especially at the guard positions.

Sounds like just about the ideal place for him to end up!

As far as free agent signings go, who are we still waiting to hear about?
Nothing on Caskin or Stephens yet.

There are still over a dozen unsigned TE and DT rated higher than them. Andrew worked out for, at least, the Redskins. He would've really helped his stock had he learned to LS.

Maybe Ottawa will give them a shot.

From this morning's Miami Herald:

"If history is any guide, a handful of these players will be on the Dolphins' active roster for Week 1 of the season. The Dolphins did not draft and offensive or defensive lineman, so Hilland, Mathieu, Moten, Pittman and Steinmetz would presumably have a real chance to make the team."
Caskin has a mini-camp invite with the Cardinals

That’s fantastic news. Nobody deserves a shot more than he does based on the work he’s put in.
Ugokwe attending the Bucs mini-camp, according to Twitter.
Hilland assigned #61 today and officially listed as a center on the roster. I don't recall him ever lining up at center for the Tribe, but I'm sure Connor is ready to play any position if it keeps him on the team.
