It's looking like a good game so far

Not to me!!!!03-banghead
44-43 UTEP at the under 12.
It will depend on if our shooting is on or not, but right now, I don't know any team will be thrilled with drawing Mike Rhoades' Rice Owls in the tournament:

58-51 UTEP at the under 4.

Do they pick up high school refs for Saturday night games? These holes are freakin' terrible.
10,884 in The Don.
They can't even point to the correct bench to signal a timeout.
61-55 with 2:08 left.
La. Tech got bailed out by Charlotte's bad FT shooting 2 days ago. UTEP getting bailed out by UTSA's this week. UTSA at 41% ft shooting.
Miners hold on 69-62. It's all the marbles time in Ruston on Thursday.

I have made the comment more than once this year that the ones at the Murphy Center look like "B" team, or high school refs.

Normally I don't complain about the refs but these jokers were bad. We won in spite of them. Even my wife who's pretty laid back during the games was having hissy fits. It was comical.

Congrats on a good game Ootsa, li'l brother had us on the ropes. You couldn't miss for the first few minutes, I'm glad that you got a little cold.
The rivalry renewed tomorrow at 1pm ET... noon CT...

MT vs WKU !!!

Looking forward to a great home crowd for senior day. Hope we can get close to a packed house... Assuming a large walk up crowd like usual for this one...
BBall officials are always going too suck. Most of these guys didn't make their jv team, if they did, they sat on the bench. The other thing that seems obvious, they aren't receiving very good training from the top down.
Is there TV for the Muts Vs. ketchup game?

Yep!! It is on Fox Sports Network. Have looked for specific info, but that's all it says. Don't know how to find FSN listings, best guess is look at your specific provider. Talent will include our old friend Mike Jarvis (close friend to CKD).

UTSA shouldn't have even had the chance to shot some of those free throws. The officials called 3 blocks that were 100% charges. I do have to admit that the officials were consistent in missing the charge/block call however. Part of the reason UTSA missed their free throws was because of how good the UTEP defense was. UTEP's defense took the legs away from UTSA and the guys that shot free throws for UTSA were not good free throw shooters. Five of their 12 free throws were shot by guys with free throw percentages from .522-.594. Add to that the 10k+ fans and you have the formula for a poor free throw shooting night. It wasn't that UTEP just got lucky.
At the beginning of the Ootsa game UTEPs defense wasn't on the floor. They were sleep walking. Once they woke up their defense allowed them to tie the game at halftime. It still wasn't easy as Ootsa played their hearts out to no avail. To me it was closer than the score because we were all standing up until the end. I really like that Hill kid,(what's his classification?). He's a good shooter from every angle. I'd have to admit that he has more smarts than our Hunter. I say this because at one point Hunter wanted to drive through three guys and then he lost the ball. He has a lot of skills (not as a point guard) but he lacks basketball smarts yet. When he does start to use his head he'll be much dangerous than he is right now as his heart carries him a lot.

With that said, I still prefer him over Hill because of that heart.
With ODUs win over La Tech do they return to at large talks? I noticed LSU and VCU both got decent wins yesterday which couldn't hurt.
