Ross Wilson - Rice
Shawn Smith - Marshall
Cody Mann - FIU

Wilson is done with the Rice basketball team due to injury issues
A breath of fresh air for Niner Nation last night with the drubbing of FAU. Niner faithful in a hard spot. We want change, but hard to root for your team to not win. Let's hope Odom turns the ship around and proves he's worth a shot.

Was nice seeing Bernard Sullivan in action last night for the first time as a Niner.

Brace yourself for a tough one against FIU. They are better than their record -- well coached and talented.

Shawn Smith played 5 games and was injured his arm/shoulder. It looks like he will miss the rest of the year and seek a medical redshirt for next year.

Niner fans are prepared for any scenario to play out, especially L's vs. teams we should win. Nothing really surprises us at this point.

Yep, I was more surprised by the blowout win last night than I will be with a loss to FIU.
Marshal fans: would love some inside info about your team for tonight game. Which player(s) should we look out for?
MT vs UTEP ladies game underway. Good crowd in Murfreesboro. 12-4 early MT ahead.
Looking forward to seeing Bernard Sullivan play more today. I hope he gets more minutes today.
MT ladies beat UTEP by 21 today and now secure 1st place in CUSA with WKU's 63-61 loss to USM. Cheyenne Parker had a triple double in only 29 minutes (!!) with 18 points, 17 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Olivia Jones led MT in scoring with 31 points! Crowd was 4,465.
UAB wins @UTSA, 65-57. 7-2 in CUSA. Only two losses were on the road and were single possession games @LT and @UTEP.

UAB doesn't have a remaining road game against a top 6 CUSA opponent left. UAB gets to host LT, WKU, and MTSU and only has 4 road games remaining.

La. Tech has to play @UAB, @MTSU, @ODU

WKU has to play @UAB, @MTSU, @ODU

MTSU has to play @UTEP, @UAB

ODU has to play @UTEP

UTEP has to play @LT

Going to be a tight race to a conference championship.
Of the 9 games we have left, UAB has 3 games remaining vs. the top 6 in C-USA. All 3 of those games are at home. I'll take our chances vs. WKU, MTSU, and La Tech at home.

Ryan Taylor is out most talented player. An undersized forward who averages about 11/8 I think. Austin Loop is a former walk on who is out three point specialist. Alexa Nicolic is our Serbian freshman point guard who turns the ball over way too much but has played much better of late. He's also shooting the ball better. Our current win streak has coincided with the improved play of center JP Kambola an guard Justin Edmonds. We're coached by Dan Dantoni, brother of Mike and former NBa assistant.

Well shoot a lot of threes. If we make them, we'll hang in there. If we don't, well...
Final: ODU 68, FAU 57
FIU beats Charlotte on the road, 78-70.

I think you guys just hit another 3....03-banghead
UTEP up 7 at half. Shooting 55/86/94 FG/3P/FT. Apparently the meteor is hurtling towards Earth as we speak.
North Texas just knocked off Rice by 10 (75-65). The Mean Green seem to be something of a wild card this season. The only team to lose to Southern Miss and also the only team to beat LA Tech. Go figure.
