I saw on DF where some posters watch this show. This is the best show on TV. AMC has really come up with good shows. The Killing is a good show too.

The reg stations have nothing on channels like AMC,
When does Mad Men come back on AMC?
Love this show... past two episodes have been intense.
***SPOILER ALERT***

So I think Shane had to go, but I am kinda disappointed now. I know a new "villain" is coming....his name is the Governor....but Shane added so much. Had to go but I am really disappointed/lost in the show now. New dynamic.
I love this show.

Breaking Bad and Mad Men are also awesome.

The Killing and Rubicon sucked. Both of these shows took to long to develop the plot and get into the nitty gritty. They lost me after about 4 episodes.
Thumbs up!

Agreed - best show on tv right now, and my 2nd favorite show ever (just behind Lost). I'm hearing season 3 is already geared up for 20 episodes (up from 6 in season 1 and 13 episodes in season 2). Can't wait for this weeks finale.

I've never read any of the graphic novels, so it's all new to me... but I really thought that the way the were setting up this season with Rick becoming more of a hardass tough guy, that he and Shane would work things out.
Glad I got into this show. Can't figure the "ultimate" end for any of the characters will be good. Don't know if this finale will trump season 2's with Sophia walking out of the barn. One of TV's all time "oh sh!t" moments.

From what I have read it says that in the novels that Carl kills Shane much sooner than this. Shane has outlived his novel counterpart.

Yup. In the novels, Shane leads Rick out into the woods back when they were camped out near the mountain outside Atlanta. Carl follows them and kills Shane...then Rick kills zombie Shane.

Dont be disappointed. The Governor and Michonne will make you forget Shane ever existed.

While I agree, from what I have heard of him, I still think that something will be different without Shane. You had a love hate relationship with him and even though he was crazy he was part of them, you know?
i like the walking dead. imo, breaking bad is the best show on tv. i can't wait for the next season.

anyway, daryl is the only character on walking dead that i like. if he dies, i'll be disappointed. the rest of the characters are a bunch of whiners.

I have no idea how I didn't see that coming. I thought it was going to be Herschel's wife

If I lived in a world infested with zombies and only had abot 10 other humans to interact with, I'd be pretty whiny, too. Except if I were the asian dude and I would just be getting nookie 24/7.

With as good as the Governor and Michonne characters are, with as good as the writing in on the show and with the great actors(David Morrissey is the Governor) they have playing the characters, I have no reservations about the show going forward.

BTW, the novels are really a story about Rick and Carl and I think that is what is going to happen more going forward. I honestly think that T-Dogg, the younger sister and her husband, and Sophia's mother are all dead on Sunday. That will keep Rick, Lori, Carl, Andrea, Herschel, Maggie, Darryl, and Glenn going to the prison in season 3 with Michonne, Abraham, Eugene, The Governor, and his army being introduced throughout the season with some of the older main characters dying throughout the season.
I wish a zombie would eat Lori's face off. She really gets on my friggin nerves.
