Hershel mentions this in a flashback when he wakes up Rick .. that wasn't the only giveaway that Rick noticed ... I think he also recognized a backpak, the riot gear (worn by Glen too), and the poncho (don't know who wore this though) ...

And don't worry - Rick and company are gonna bring the pain.

Thanks. Don't know how I missed that. Yeah, I picked up on the poncho and riot gear they focused on while walking in and figured Glen and Maggie were already there, but I didn't remember the stop watch at all from anywhere, and I missed that flashback with Hershel mentioning it.

Looking forward to the oncoming pain infliction by Rick & Co., especially when the surprise re-enforcements show up in Tyreese and Carol.

I have a lingering question regarding that guy on the railroad tracks that Tyreese tried to save before Carol showed up with the girls. His dying words to them were to follow the railroad tracks and they will find a place of sanctity with great people, presumably Terminus. He spoke like he came from there. What would his motive be to send them there considering he was about to die? Just sending his friends and family there another meal if they are the cannibal community? Just seems like he would have had a moment of clarity with a guy that just tried to save him while he's dying.

Maybe he'd never been there, but heard the mis-information everyone else had heard, and took it for gospel. Wanted to help these people that tried to help him without knowing the consequences? A final bit of usefulness?
Is it possible that Terminus people are afflicted with a mutant form of the disease?
It just the portrait of the girl at the house.

Probably not. They are just a cult who decided to survive by luring people to the camp and eating them. They a great location plus they are well-armed. By the time people get to them, they are probably in bad shape and not aware fully of what is going on.

yes, the corpses looked cool - but that isn't The Walking Dead ... if you can see in all of "the walking dead" frames, you can see AMC in the lower right-hand corner and possibly "the walking dead" in the lower left-hand corner.
Well, seeing that season 5 hasn't even started filming yet, I think we have a little while to wait for the trailer.
And for all the people that complained about the season finale not ending with a major action sequence... remember season 1 ended with them driving away from the burning CDC. That show was much more tame by WD standards.
The mid-season episodes have been where most of the heat has been. I like that this season ended with one major plotline resolution (Joe's group) and especially with no major characters getting killed (that we know of at least).
I don't know anything about the comics, so the show is unfolding anew for me. So, I wanted to ask about a scene in the finale. While I tend to believe the cannibals theory, the scene in the finale where Rick & Co are being herded by the gunfire makes me wonder about Terminus. Rick & Co run through a warehouse type large room lit with candles and set up as a type of spiritual sanctuary/shrine. What are everyone's thoughts on the room and the messages written on the walls? Do they point in a direction that indicates something other than cannibals related? Thoughts?
There is no Terminus in the comics.
The Hunters are in the comics though.

The Hunters were a group of hostile survivors that Rick's group encountered while on the road to Washington, D.C. The group consisted of five men and one woman who presumably survived the initial days of the global calamity as a regular group of survivors.

The Hunters are primarily led by Chris, and their base was shown to be an isolated countryside home with dense forest and some fences surrounding it. The exact location is unknown, but it is obviously located somewhere in the countryside between Atlanta and Washington, D.C.

Like most survivors, their lives prior to the undead apocalypse are unknown, and the circumstances to which they survived and became cannibalistic hunters is only lightly touched upon. The only details of their revealed origin prior to their conflict with Rick's group was explained by Chris. Initially, The Hunters had survived on normal food supplies. However, when food became scarce and scavenging was no longer a safe option, they resorted to cannibalism, due to, ironically, being terrible hunters. It was implied from Chris' story and his visible emotional grief that the Hunters ate their own children to survive.

After the Hunters had consumed the bodies of their children, the group moved on to hunting other living survivors for sustenance. They believed that other living humans were much easier game than hunting animals or gathering other food supplies, and began to prey on small groups and loners with increasing confidence.

Chris told Rick that the Hunters had normally and consciously avoided larger groups, but by the time of their conflict with Rick's group, Chris said that they had no luck tracking down smaller groups or loners in the past few days. This explained why they resorted to hunting down Rick's larger group; they were getting desperate and needed food.

here you go:

Sounds like Glenn will be an early-season casualty. Though we've heard that before, they're going to have to kill an original sooner or later, and maybe his story arc has hit a wall and his death can feed the story lines of others... If a S1 has to go, it'd have to be either him or Carol, don't see the other S1s going yet.
I rather it be Carol
I thought I saw Glen in a commercial for a new show this fall on one of the regular stations. Wasn't really paying that much attention to the commercials.

It would go along more with the comics if he gets killed off. Why can't they get rid of some dead weight like Tyrese's sister or the other dude that became a regular last year. Hated that they killed off the sisters.

And the newer ones from the comics better be contributing to the story line of going to DC.

Also, they better NEVER EVER kill Darryl off. I will quit watching the show if they do.
trailer looks good. I agree I'd rather see Carol go over Glen, but I feel like Glen's death could drive the story more than Carol's

Id rather that too, but I see more unexplored territory for her. They haven't even addressed the tension with Darryl yet. Barring an actor withdrawal like that behind Dale's exit, I see her around longer. But who knows...
