No news on Gardiner. He hasn't committed anywhere, yet.

He's currently playing with the Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL). He has 2 points (0-2) through 7 games

He's the kind of player that would be a capstone for a recruiting class. We get him and WATCH OUT other CCHA teams.

The "University of Western Michigan"? It's good to have him, but would be nice if he learned the name of our school.

I wouldn't go *that* far. He's an interesting piece. He was pretty much nonexistent at Minnesota last season and dropped back down to Juniors which is a tacit admission by all involved that he was brought in too early to be ready to contribute. Minnesota was pretty meh last year.

Still a massive step up in the quality of the recruiting pool we've been fishing in, so to speak. Almost all our American players are out of the USHL nowadays.

The "University of Western Michigan"? It's good to have him, but would be nice if he learned the name of our school.

Well Coach Murray called us "Western University" a few times at his introductory press conference and that's turned out alright so far...

Well Coach Murray called us "Western University" a few times at his introductory press conference and that's turned out alright so far...

And the same applied to Coach Murray. Great to have him, but learn the name of the school, which he did. Knowing the name of our school is not too much to ask of from our coaches and players.

Before arriving in Lincoln, McKee had been committed to play for Northeastern University, but he decommitted recently from what I have read online.
