He's going to play for NU after all. That said I doubt he would have ended up at WMU had he been able to leave. His whole purpose in trying to leave was to follow his junior coach to Denver.

Does anybody know anything about Matti Iacopelli? He said on twitter on Monday that he just committed to playing hockey for Western.

Not much, other than he plays AAA for the Honeybaked program in Michigan

15 years old, plays defense. 5'11", 174lbs. Shoots Right.
3 goals, 6 assists in 12 games last year, low penalties - 6 minutes.

He is on the OHL prospect list for this year

He's a Trenton, MI native 5' 10" Forward
Molino is in his first season with the Stampede and has posted 21 points (3g, 18a) and is a plus-3 in 24 games. 11 of his 18 assists have come on the power play and two of his three goals have also come with the man advantage. The Trenton, Mich. native has five assists over his last two games for the Herd. Molino was drafted by the Herd during the 2013 USHL Phase 2 Entry Draft after spending last season playing for Brockville of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) last season.

I've finally gotten around to updating the first post with all of the new verbals and roster changes.

Here are some statistical tidbits about our future Broncos:
- Matt Iacopelli ('15) is currently 5th in points (35) and 2nd in goal scoring (23) in the USHL
- Griffen Molino ('14) is currently 9th in assists (20) in the USHL
- Frederik Tiffels ('14 or '15) played for Germany in the '13 and '14 World Junior Championships. Tiffels tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in Germany's 7 games
