Ironically you are the one who trolled here. You post is an obvious example. Then when you don't like the answer you get you resort to some lame tough guy approach about how valuable your time is.
In reality national championship seasons are really special and don't happen very often for most schools.
Aside form tOSu it's been 20 years since anyone else won a NC in the B1G.
Aside from FSU and Clemson it's been over 15 years since anyone else in the ACC won a NC and that's just Miami. Beyond those schools there is nothing.
PAC hasn't won a NC since 2003. Beyond USC there is nothing.
Big 12 only has 2 since 2000.
So essentially aside from USC, OU, UT, tOSU, FSU, Clemson, and Miami the SEC has won the rest since recruits have been alive.
Funny watching you dish stuff out but not be able to handle getting it back in return. That's the sign of weakness and insecurity.
Oregon went all the way to an NC game vs Auburn, and that wasn't any worse than how Texas fared against 'Bama.
Tell me how well the Big 12 has done outside of Oklahoma & Texas. Name me even one team that even made to the NC game this decade in the Big 12 that wasn't named Oklahoma or Texas. That's what we've all been discussing, and you keep avoiding the subject. Where there's smoke, there is fire, and that is coming from someone who [b]wants[\b] the Big 12 to survive.
I'm not sure I follow what your point is about ORegon and Texas. Both lost. I dont' really see a distinction.
Thanks for proving my point for me. Essentially aside form the SEC we are talking about 1-2 teams per conference that are actual contenders in recruits lifetimes. The rest are just pretenders.
So in the end we aren't really talking about conferences, we are talking about 8-10 teams, 2 of which are in the Big 12.
Aside from the SEC there hasn't been an elite team outside tOSU, Clemson, and FSU the last 5 years.
The Big 12 is not any deeper or shallower than any of the other non SEC conference. TCU and OkSU have had as good of seasons as you can have without making it in the NC game just like many of the other schools in the PAC and B1G for example have recently.
At the end of the day the Big 12 is not holding any team back just like none of the other p-5 conferences are holding teams back even though we all talk about it each season depending on how the conference does in OOC or during bowls. If you win all the games you get in, Lose 1 you still probably get in. Those seasons just don't come around that often for all but a handful of teams.
The SEC, Clemson, FSU, and tOSU have dominated football for quite some time.
BTW I am not concerned with the Big 12 surviving. I just like pointing out that contrary to some folks like yourself I can look at OU and realize that there is not a better situation as far as access to the playoff than the Big 12. There just isn't. In fact the same is true for FSU and Clemson. Putting yourself in a position to win a conference championship gives any team the best chance at getting in the playoff. The BiG 12 gives OU the best chance for that. OU plays in NY6 bowls very often and we get our fair share of chances at NC's. The Big 12 is not holding OU back in any way. If anything it's helping us by providing the best access to big bowls, CC's, and recruits. Any other conference we win less CC's, play in less NY6 bowls, get worse recruits, and slide off as the next Nebraska or Tennessee.
So the better question is how do you see the Big 12 holding OU back?
