The attendance prediction thread should ROYALY PISS OFF EVERY TRUE TIGER FAN.

So we lost to Mississippi. So the F what.

We are a dang good team and we are good enough to seriously compete to win the AAC which every football analyst says is by far the best non P5 conference.

This is why I HATE playing SEC teams. Anytime we lose our Fair Weather fans bolt to the EXIT SIGNS

Our goal every year is to win our conference championship. Doesn't matter what conference we are in. JUST WIN

We have to get our minds right and be the best damn non P5 team in the country. But that's not going to happen by losing faith when we lose to an SEC TEAM

I implore our fans to STAND UP and bring as many people as possible this Thursday night. We are on the national stage and it's a great oppty to keep showing the college football world that we belong.

Only Alabama put up more yards against the Miss defense then we did. And OM buys their players. We do things the right way and hung in with them till the end.

We are a very good football team and our real fans can not give up. We all need to make sure to bring friends to compensate for the Fair Weather loss

Yep! I didn't care near as much bout sat game as I do about Temple Thursday.

Dude, we don't have any fair weather fans. If you are a Tiger fan, you've been kicked in the balls way too often to be a fair weather fan.

Man, I hope you're right. I just don't see it. And it's not because we lost to Ms. (well, in particular). I just think not enough people care about playing Temple. It's the boring name. It's lack of history with them. You tell me we are playing Cincy, Lousiville, Southern Miss, hell, even Arky State, I'll tell you we will have a min. of 40,000.

Now, if we were 4-0 right now, and I don't care who those 4 teams were, we'd have 50,000 for a Thursday night game. But we are still seen as a junior league team by most Memphians because of our conference, and it's only interesting to them if we have a chance of PROVING we are not junior league by going undefeated, or getting in a NY6 bowl.

Which we still may do!

You are correct regarding the "New Band Wagon Fan" which represents about 5,000 of an attendance of the normal 40k crowd

What I'm asking is for our True Fans who have suffered in the 80's, most of the 90's, and many years post 2005 to MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE of the 5,000 fair weathers and add another 5,000 to get us to 45,000 this Thursday

All it takes is what Coach West preached for so many years. "If we want to fill the stadium, then just buy 1 extra ticket and convince a friend to join you for a fun tailgate and Tiger game.

FYI...Univ of Memphis Faculty and Staff can each get 2 free tickets to Thursday Night's game. If you know anyone that works there, might want to remind them about this.

So after the next 2 weeks attendance should be fine

It is what it is. There will always be the same amount of folks. 30-35. If we're ranked or undefeated may get a 5 to 10 bump. Play a big time opponent maybe another 5. No sense in getting bent out of shape. Show up if you wanna show up. I'll be there. #GTG

All depends on what time our games are in relation to theirs

They got a chance to win the win the east regardless of what happens against A&M or Bama. I think they beat A&M. Right now Butch is so lucky he cloud $hiat in a swinging bucket
