ugh...not Hall. I don't see us winning that one.

How many likely opponents do you actually see us beating? I say not many.

This realtime bracket has us as the 9seed playing the 8seed Colorado in Chicago.

KU awaits the winner.

I am watching the sad state of affairs known as the VCU St. Joe's game and CBS put up a thing called bubbles bursting? section. They had UC on that list. I know it means little but FYI.

RE: Poll: Are the Bearcats In?
We are all sitting here sweating it out because our team didn't take care of business. As Jarr said, if we don't get it, if we get hosed, well, it's on the team. They had ample opportunity to get the wins necessary and didn't get it done. Miracle shots aside, had we just beaten Temple even once, and a very beatable Memphis team then all of this is a none issue.

I still think we have the metrics to make it and we have no bad losses which you can't say about most or many of the other bubble teams.

RE: Poll: Are the Bearcats In?
Fodder for a top seed. I can see us maybe getting to the round of 32 only to face a 1 or a 2, giving them a hell of a game for 30 minutes and fading down the stretch because of one of our infamous scoring droughts.

I felt like the team was playing pretty darn well until the Thomas and Cobb injuries- then I felt like those guys while not necessarily key players- their health was instrumental in letting us do what we wanted to do.

Limpin into the tournament yet again..

If Memphis were to win today, Cincy's worst loss would be to the AAC tourney champion. Just sayin'...

That doesn't change the fact that it would remain a bad loss.

According to that matrix we would be playing Michigan in Dayton play in game.

If UCONN holds on to beat Memphis, we're in. If not, we're out.

I will say this, that 4-OT game gave us a ton of press. UC and UCONN have been talked about all weekend.

Like I said then, one of the best games I ever saw. Any teams. Reminded me of the 1996 title game between AZ and UK. with a 70 footer to tie it.

I don't agree with too much of that. While, true, that this has not been the season we've expected, we should be well in the field, no questions asked. Our resume beats the crap out of a lot of other teams.

I was worried for nothing. UC was in with ease.
