Sometimes I wonder if it was better for me when the Bearcats were no threat to make the Tourney and thus I could relax and just enjoy the games. Honestly I don't give a rats ass about the AAC tournament. If that had happened in the NCAA Tournament I may be hospitalized right now.

We're in, no question about it. Might get dicey if Memphis wins the AAC tournament, but I don't think the committee, with any sort of reason, can leave UC out.
If UC does get left out, you can forget about me even watching the tournament.

I voted yes with a caveat....its UC and the universe conspires against us...the Shoemaker Center was apparently built on a sacred native american burial ground.
There will be an interview with the head of the selection committee on Sunday where they say that they had UC out even before the UCONN game just like they did in March 2005.

As a fan base, we have become so jaded since 1989. I do not know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I remember being on spring break on Daytona Beach in 1989 watching the NCAA selection show and having no hope of selection and no evidence that we would ever be selected again. Since this date we have been to final four, elite eight and many tournament appearances. Not to mention in football, we have been to the Sugar and Orange Bowl. Athletics at UC have come a long way, and I will certainly be tuned in for the selection show on Sunday and the subsequent (hopefully) Ncaa tournament games.

I hope it's an 11 but that's sweating it out a little bit. I'll say a 10 vs. Notre Dame.
If true, I hope the game is on Friday. I'd rather not play Notre Dame on St. Patrick's Day or else we'll see some more full court shots being made.

Cautiously optimistic based upon objective data but I think we all share rath's caveat and are pretty much incapable of being shocked at anything.
