My apologies Somone else did. I think 20k is realistic but that's not butts in seats that's tickets sold. I think 15-17k if you're winning is more realistic and even then idk. The stadium will definitely help and the trying to make it look like a real campus too.
As I said, if we can't pull better than that in Atlanta that's on the administration and AD. No excuses

Your delusions about GaSt getting "Atlanta" much less the metro area to rally behind you has not and will likely never pan out unless you pull a Boise type run or get into a P5. You will likely get a new car smell bump for the stadium, I hope, but will be luck to average 20K with winning seasons for the foreseeable future. OTP folks outside of your commuter students and alums are never going to care about G5 GaSt football unless you rack up P5 wins left and right. The actual people that live in the city of ATL are probably less of the make up of any sporting event than those that live OTP. If you are banking on actual locals, I feel for you.
There is zero correlation when it comes to a teams location and winning or attendance and certainly zero proof being in a large city helps anything at all, if so why did Hofstra fold up and why does Rutgers suck so bad?
I will chime in that ULM will be passed standing still by GaSt like every other team that has joined the Belt.
Are you GTS?
Also the AAC would love a word.
Its been seven years guy, creeping up on a decade fast and zero traction with the locals or even your own students and alums for that matter. The stadium should help out but I think if we look back at GSUfans archives circa 2010 your prediction posts are pretty awful.
Also, the AAC would like a word about what? The SEC would like word too I guess as most of their schools are not in large cities and are in small college towns. Most FBS conference champions every year are not in large cities and last I checked same with most elite football programs for that matter unless you consider Clemson and Tuscaloosa major cites..... There is zero correlation with athletic success when it comes to academics, location and or student population. The only thing location matters as far as location is if you are in a region that produces a lot of football talent where college football is a major sport like it is in the South.

So throwing in the towel..wise decision for ya as you have nothing and you would just be embarrassed by your old GSUfans posts.
Yes losing all kinds of sleep.....over 2-1 especially when you compare the overall records and success the last three years much less since 2010 or total history...oh man...so painful. I cant get back to sleep until I look at the conf championship and bowl trophy you dont have then count all our conf and national championships I never get to the end.

This has been a mostly hilarious thread. Remember when we could not buy the Ted. Or how about when GS fans said they would be watching us. Or when we were merging with GT. That was a fun week. Or remember when the Ted almost became a casino. Good times. For two years all this thread has been is why this is impossible. So now the last thread hanging is attendance. As has been mentioned numerous times, if you win people show up. If they do not well they do not. Color me not worried. In eight years we have gone from not owning a football to going to a bowl game and buying a professional stadium. But hey I am sure we are doomed. But I would strap, put your seat in an upright position and secure your tray table. Your head may explode before September.

I see you have learned nothing from your failed predictions from 2010. Going to a bowl and losing and two wins over a three year old FBS team is your claim to fame in SEVEN years. Cmon man..... AND that is a huge gap in all that nonsense you were spouting on GSUfans that you seem to have forgot how to get to after that loss to Lambuth. Create all the fake straw men enemies and put all the words nobody ever said in their mouthes it will not matter one bit if you dont win. I never said any of those things listed nor did the majority of GS fans. I also have been a GS fan that has said over and over GSU will not suck forever just enjoying every single second of it much to the disagreement of ton of GS fans. There is just to much talent in the state for any team to suck forever but I hope you manage to try as hard as you can.
I am also very good with our stadium and especially its future and people filling it with zero worries winning or losing. That's what happens when you have a fan base and did not f up ten ways to Sunday at every turn starting a football program.

As a Mets fan, Turner Field was a house of horrors for me for years. Hopefully there is much more joy for me during its time as a football stadium.

Winning does cure all in sports or 99.9% of it. Kinda of the point of sports right?

Yes twist it to make it something it is not to play victim and because you dont have anything to refute what I say. First please show me where I predicted doom then please show me where it is common for non grads to rally in the tens of thousands to G5 teams especially ones not formerly part of the BCS..oh but ATL is going to be different and you of course are an expert on all things ATL..

Does anyone know when they will remove the upper level seating? That stadium still looks way too big for GA State. When will they begin on the baseball stadium?
