Instate games like this are frequently scheduled as a kind of political favor to someone, but even so the fact remains that CCSU is generally the lowest-rated team in Division I.
I rather play CCSU then Alabama Little House in the Prairie that nobody ever heard of. This game was actually a blessing because we just lost our starting Center Amida Brimah yesterday with a broken finger for at least 6 weeks.
No offense...but no one outside the little town where something called Central Connecticut State Univ is located in has every heard about it.
I, and maybe plenty of others, have heard of Alabama Little House in the Prairie before (strong spring sports, good women's lacrosse and rowing).*
I'm trying to figure out if this post is a joke or not.

SMU is 11-0 for the first time ever. Colorado was the best team we have played so far.

RE: MBB: AAC is 85-46 so far vs. non-conference opponents
Decided to bump this to include some of the more recent scores.
So far, the AAC overall is a combined 12-21 against teams from the six top-rated leagues (ACC, Big East, B1G, Big XII, PAC, SEC). The American itself is generally rated #7 after those six.
The league is a combined 6-9 against teams from the three next-highest leagues (A10, Mtn. West, Colonial), and 67-16 against teams from the other 22 leagues.

I believe #7 is to high, #9 in RPI behind the A-10 and CAA.

Point taken on RPI, although that's not the rating I used:
masseyratings.com/cb/compare.htm
Avg. ranking of:
AAC team: 113.50
A10 team: 114.96
Colonial team: 142.54
MWC team: 142.96
out of 351 total Division I teams
