Haha Complete trolling fail. So we sold our complete allotment and outsold an ACC power who is located much closer to the bowl. I love it.

I'm trying to double and triple confirm, because with today's media, for all we know their source is UGA_Insider. 03-lmfao

With that said, they've got someone there on the ground that's said it, and Gotera is a Northwestern grad, so I'm assuming he's a pretty smart dude and wouldn't claim it if it weren't true.

TCU will always suck. Little private religious school trying to play with the big boys. Nobody cares about TCU in Texas. UH is taking their recruits muhahahahaha.

That's so true. Frankly, I truly believe we probably came fairly close, but I'd be surprised if we sold all 13K. If we did, thats pretty impressive given that the tickets were $150 (minimum) and the bowl was a 1000 miles from here.

I been to several of Houston's bowl games in FW and you guys have never travelled more than a few thousand a few hours away. I know it is hard to come up with $ to a game further away, but not selling your allotment is never a good sign.

And congrats on King, it will be funny when Herman leaves for aggie or UT next year and all these prized recruits are left, well the ones that actually qualify BTW, with being stuck in Houston.

We and our poorly traveling fan base are about to steal yet another recruit from you. 07-coffee3

FYI, here's a screenshot of the "dismal" Peach Bowl ticket sales.

Peach Bowl had a historic run of sell outs for almost 2 decades due to their strong season tix/association based sales...and now the bowl in the New Year's 6 Playoff Bowl Pool...and next year, they host a Semi-Final Game and will host a future National Championship Game...and that's why the Peach Bowl has strong yearly season tix sales...well before teams are even selected.

But yes, FSU has a ton of alumni that live in ATL...let alone its such a short drive from Tally to ATL and most towns in North/Central FL too.

I'm somewhere outside of Monroe, LA en route to Atlanta and I would be thrilled if the stadium was close to half Coog fans... honestly I think it will be more like a 3rd, this is a heck of a trip, but we will see. Good luck to Memphis in their game!

We don't travel well to the Fort Worth Bowl because, well, it's the friggin' Fort Worth Bowl. That means a mediocre season and a mediocre bowl in a mediocre city versus a mediocre team.

It's as beige as TCU.

FSU will probably outnumber Houston 3-1.

Geography alone would lean toward an FSU lean.

At least that from what I see. FSU has completely engulfed 42 story Marriott Downtown.
