Like 7, I need football too, so here's a pointless poll to see where the board stands after all the (non)info we've been given.

Since there's a chance the three split reps vs. Prez, who do you guys think starts vs. Northwestern if you had a grand to win for being right?

MY guess: The guy that starts at Northwestern will be the same starter as the Presby game... UNLESS that QB did terrible.

Hard to not pick the QB with the most experience in the system unless Hare has performed significantly better. All 3 should get some playing time vs the Blue Hoes as this game should be decided no later than the mid 2nd quarter.

Hare and others should get the ball in the 2nd half

McIntosh if not injured. I have the feeling he is not 100% and come the Presby game, he will be taking hits.

Still going McIntosh, but nowhere near as confident as if you asked me a month ago.

Macintosh, but also feel others will be used situationally.

Amazing how Hare is last in this poll but very easily could be the guy. Don't ever remember a position battle like this for any team I've followed. I voted McIntosh but really have no clue.

It is funny how the poll on huskiewire was overwhelmingly in favor of Hare. I also wonder if Carey comes on this board. I bet he does and enjoys it immensely

Im confused by mac not being the definitive #1. Guy is asked to throw two passes last year and gets 2 touchdowns, runs pretty well, has three years in system. Either the others are good or there is something he lacks that I dont know of (maybe consistency).

Lol come on dude...that's a small sample size to judge there with that 2 td comment.....but I agree on the 3 years in the system comment for sure

I think that McIntosh and Hare are on the same level and the tie breaker will go to McIntosh because of seniority and an extra year of experience. Although, when everything is said and done Hare will have the slight better career.

I thought he was held out of a couple of practices awhile back. probably just dinged but who knows.

It's hard to judge McIntosh and Hare based on game action last year too because they only came in during blowouts and I'm guessing weren't playing against the first string defense. UMass scrubs will make any backup look like Johnny Football.

I picked Hare but have no idea really. If he has the edge in passing it would be interesting to see him get the ball to the weapons we have on offense.

My prediction: Whoever he is, he better do really well or he'll be crucified by at least a third if not half of this board.

It has actually been enjoyable this year not worrying about the OOC games. No I don't want to see us lose but all I care about this year is we have the best QB in by week 6 for the opening of conf play.

Win at home, the West, the MACC and the bowl game.

McIntosh was first off the bench last year, so Carey will start him.
