The uniforms didn't look that bad on TV, although the pink stripes down the back of the pants looked pretty silly.

Not the worst unis ever. That still goes to the 70s Pittsburgh Pirates. These were second.

the 70s bumble bee pirate unis were perfect, for the generation they were in...now the famous white sox softball shorts unis are attrocious regardless of era...

The pink unis looked awful, but hey at least with no helmet logo people probably didnt recognize it was toledo laying an egg in the 2nd half...

Jesus...first time reading this.... Say what you want and gang up on me and force me out of the conversation like you "super fans" usually do when us non-regular poster has something to say. You are the worst fans I've heard of in my life. U enjoy complaining and having things to complain about. U will never be happy with anything. Are you seriously Rocket fans??? AND THAT IS DIRECTED MORE TO THOSE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE GAME...my uni opinion...i thought it was pretty cool, i wish they would have put the pink rocket from last year on one side of the helmet.

Game? There was a game last night? Oh man...you mean the big one against Northern? I thought that was just a nightmare I was having...Are you sure we aren't really playing them this Saturday?

And as for the uniforms...again I say: ugh. Way too much pink imo. But I agree that having the Rocket logo or even a "UT" in pink would have been better...

I just thought the pink was a little overdone. From the front it didn't look that bad--at least from a distance. Take away the pink strip on the back legs, and the Victoria's Secret facemask and I could deal with it.

As far as THE GAME, really--if you haven't already done so, you should post your observations in one of the threads related to the game. Seriously--you really should. But, don't throw the door open and rush in shootin' at us. Just state our thoughts and you will probably generate some thoughtful discourse.

And post with us more often so we get to know you better!

Looking at some of your other posts I see follow up posts by regulars thanking you for posting and welcoming you to the board. Never experienced any freeze out when I was a new poster nor have I seen anyone else get squeezed out of a thread. Please feel free to post here and know that most, if not all, of us welcome fresh input and perspective. I could also point you to about 127 boards where you could see what bad fans really look like- this bunch is pretty mild. OSU fans, from ANY of the various OSUs, want to fire coaches because they didn''t win games by enough points or because the QB can't throw a tight spiral. IMO, these are the BEST fans ever. Welcome back, and GO ROCKETS!

PS: I have an amazing life and love every second of it.

Talked to UF and FSU fans here in S Fl. They liked the uniforms.

I'll bet that's a regional thing. You see a lot more pink in FL than up here. Flamingos, buildings, cars, clothing.

It wasn't Lynch. Lynch was sitting in the front row of the auditorium. If BG wins the East and wants to beat NIU, they probably need Lynch to have a limp though.

Lynch looked like a beast but again it was WMU...after he broke his own single game QB rushing record, he started looking a little beat up...

That said, back to the main theme of this thread, NIUs alt unis looked really sharp on TV...

Agree with Tom. If the other fifty odd Huskies are injured and limping then even if Lynch is fine NIU will probably barely win.
