UT Foundation highlights including a gift for endzone facility renovation
The owners of Brooks Insurance Agency has given a large gift. The article is titled Rockets at Heart. Many accomplishments including the Gateway Project, The new UTMC cancer center, etc. The UT Foundation continues to fund many projects each and every year. Below are some highlights of what was accomplished in the past year, just scroll down once you hit the link. If you look at the giving pie chart for 2013 approximately 3.8 million has been donated just this year for athletics. As you know the University has lent the athletic department the 5 million or so dollars needed to begin construction immediately so the renovated facility is ready for next year. Everyone will be temporarily housed in the press tower at the Glass Bowl similiar to what was done with Savage was renovated. Good thing UT has a a top notch and climate controlled press tower!
