Let me start with this. I remember this game very well. For whatever reason I was watching and pulling for C of C....

The Golden Flashes begin a tough stretch of games this evening at TD Arena in Charleston South Carolina. The College of Charleston Cougars are the first of several quality opponents that Kent State will face during the Holiday Season.
The C of C Cougars are 5-1 with wins over Chattanooga, Richmond, Davidson, Virginia Tech and Colorado State. Their lone blunder was a 16 point loss to North Carolina (the Tar Heels not the A&T version). Charleston has three starters and two reserves who average double digit points. Leading the offensive charge is 6'2 sophomore guard Reyne Smith. The product of Ulverstone Australia scored 24 against Chattanooga and 29 against Richmond.
One team statistic that sticks out to me is that the Cougars turn it over. Sure, they have played good opponents, but the -13 Assist/TO is something that the Flashes should look to exploit.
I have become a big fan on analytics this season. So here is what I think KSU needs to do to be in position to win this roadie:
*Bring their defense to TD Arena
*Value Possessions
*Rebound that Basketball!!
Add a big night from Sincere Carry and who knows, maybe this is the start of something good.
GO FLASHES!
