I said before the game I wanted to see Lynch, letting him actually play QB vs whatever the heck they are doing with him.
Would like to see him (or even Fletcher) get a chance. Hampton has had some decent moments, but overall not seeing it.
A QB has to be able to win with his arm. Bowers had it but not the supporting cast. Rocky has it but he is hurt. Hamp is a liability and I don’t see him getting much better.
Statistically Hampton and Harnish are very similar at this point in their careers. I am not saying Hampton will turn out to be another Harnish, but I am very happy someone saw enough in Harnish to live with his less than good INT to TD ratio, and mediocre completion % his freshman year. Had that not happen, we would have one less Hall of Famer.
Harnish took over in a total rebuild coming off of a 2-10 season, new coach and probably new scheme. If Hampton started with Hammock in say 2019 he would have a much further leash to show improvement. Harnish improved as the team and offense improved. Hampton stepped into a fully ready offense.

While I'm not sure this is the most frustrating thing today, it ranks up there. Lynch is averaging 5 yards/carry when everyone knows he's gonna run. If the defense had to play the pass (not respect but at least play the pass) imagine how that would help his (and the RBs) yards/carry. If this is how they are going to use Lynch then he shouldn't be playing QB. And I'm quite sure this is not what Lynch was told we he agreed to transfer here.
It’s mind blowing to see they haven’t schemed one single high percentage pass for him in 3 games.
yep yep yep instead they have him throw about a 35 yd out where if the defender jumps the route, it is six pts. nice! (oops! This comment is directed at the play calls that led to the pick sic- at least the second one that I saw.)

Harnish played very well against Minnesota his first start -- threw for more than 300 yards. We knew what he was capable of... I was shocked when Kill preferred Grady. And of course Me'co Brown over Chad Spann.

Put in your resume for OC. I think about 10 of us should.
At least we would try something new.
I’d suggest hammock just gets an Xbox with Madden’22. It could be used for offense and defense. Saves money. Can’t be any worse.
Nah, Madden '22 is to advanced for him, I think the 60's football game that you posted before is all he can handle.
Maybe that collecovision handheld game with the red digital dash? The one where you wore your thumb muscles out on every long run.
That bring back memories. That was a cutting edge video game when that came out.
I have a Mattel "Classic Football" handheld game with the red dashes, just what we had back in the day. Is that what you're talking about? My brother found one some years back. Still works.

Yes, I remember that and had one of those. And those dashes moving across the screen actually resemble the Huskies on the field. And if they don't tackle or cover anyone, we know that's the defense on the field.

LOL, that describes it exactly. You move your dash to the bottom of the screen, and all the defender dashes move to the bottom of the screen in your general direction. Then you move to the top of the screen and have a clear shot straight down the field. Just like our defense this year.
