My understanding from articles and videos is that the defense will feature different looks/sets depending on the opponent and game situation/adjustments.

I think that line is very fair...I'm staying away this week unless I can find another couple tease-up candidates to pair with UC +13.0

The line is fair but nearly every advanced metrics I've seen likes uc against the spread (and usually by 3 to 6 points better then the line) , the line is pretty off if you're just looking at the preseason metrics.

Holy jeez. Their dual threat QB who led the team in rushing is 242 lbs! They've got a fullback playing QB.

Luke's given Matt Barrie several interviews over the past couple seasons. Wonder what the connection is.

Indiana eeked out a win against Illinois in a total cave man game.

Their offense suuuuuucks.

Unless they improve a lot in the next few weeks, I'm less worried about them than last year.

Time for Lee Corso to spend his Saturdays at home. He must get bonus pay to put down the Bearcats at every opportunity.

That's the easy pick. I've had a funny feeling the last couple days that Prater starts to test his mettle. If UC needs a different direction after the first few series, Bryant comes in. The issue in my mind is if Bryant starts and it doesn't go well, the Arkansas defense will go all in for the run when Prater enters the game. Regardless, we'll know very soon.

Just saw more GameDay talk on the game. I guess there is no way Cincinnati can play with an SEC West team. That was the total preview, along with the Arkansas quarterback getting manicures and pedicures.

Yeah host is a dork. Arkansas is no Bama. The main impression I got is it would be the smash ball game of the week from the full crew though.

To be fair, we lost a ton of guys including two elite corners and the third winningest QB in college football history to the NFL. There are more question marks with our squad than Arkansas has. We're also playing on the road in a sold out SEC stadium - never an easy task. I'm not saying we can't win but I do understand why we're not being compared to the CFP team from last year.

This. Last year’s UC team was extremely special. We really have no idea what we’ve got this year.

OK, Prater has got to be the QB. The dual threat RPO is what made Ridder's career. If we just have a pocket passer standing back there their D lime will just pin their ears back and they'll load up on the WR's.

I still think they should've at least gave him a look.

The one play he was in there he improvised for a good gain. Their QB killed us the whole game doing just that.

That was a draw play...not improvisation. I don't think he can throw all that well, and the coaches weren't going to make him do it.

They gave Prater a look in training camp. He didn’t have what it took to win the starting job this year.
