Once again...just like the sun coming up each day...another football season begins. Old Faithful-esque. It is music to my ears. It soothes my soul. It is Wunderbar! It is also the last season in the AAC. Wow! I continue to be so damn thankful we got on the last chopper out. I know there's still uncertainty with where the college football landscape lands in years to come but just think where the trajectory was headed five, six, seven years ago. Unreal. Time to get excited about the season gents! The exodus to Camp Higher Ground begins this week.
Very cool! Go Bearcats!
One more freakin' month.

It can't come soon enough! All the chatter about realignment and various other topics is a poor substitute for watching, analyzing, and discussing the finest Bearcat football teams ever.

I'm not sure many of us reasonably expected the CFP last year but we knew it was an experienced team returning--one that was a minute away from capping an undefeated season with a Cotton Bowl victory the year before. This season holds great promise but also uncertainty about how some offensive and defensive units will develop.
As always, a great thanks to Chad for his continued hard work covering [and sharing] the Bearcats...

Very interesting point by coach re: the QB position. 4 years ago he went with 2 QBs because he felt they could both play in the same system. But this year he doesn’t think that’s true so it will be a QB1 and QB2 situation rather than 1A and 1B.

THIS IS NOT A REBUILD!

This is not a rebuild!!!

8/19 is Donor day at Higher Ground. Cannot attend as wife has surgery.

I am looking forward to a report especially on QB battle.
Football season!
Big Fick has so greatly improved his public image/comfort zone and his speaking ability since Year One. He's helping to grow our brand gents...
If Tre Tucker is right, and he can't tell the difference between passes from the two quarterbacks, that would seem to favor Prater. He has more seasons remaining and better mobility to go with the passing.

I am guessing it is far from that simple, however.
Welcome to Cin City MFkers!
