Me too. I was fine with the whole concept of civil unions which gave gay couples all the benefits of marriage without forcing the rest of us to accept that two men or two women were married. It's disconcerting and throws off my equilibrium every time I see two lesbians and one is introduced as the husband or two queers and one is introduced as the wife.

Ahhh snowflake does it trigger you?

RE: HISTORY: Roe v Wade falls
The Supreme Court has a busy week, LOL. Education, 2nd amendment clarification, and overturning Roe vs Wade.

Excellent work. The value of electing Trump in 2016 now becomes apparent. Trump put Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Comey-Barret on the Supreme Court. Imagine for a minute or so the type of judges the Hildebeest would have put in there. The Lord definitely at work right there.

Some US businesses are now announcing new abortion related benefits for impacted employees. Note that a number of them began exploring this when the draft Roe vs Wade decision was leaked in early May. That "advance notice" certainly helped spur the research and planning of these companies.

Most will cover the cost of sending employees out of state that seeking an abortion. Some will also cover the travel costs of the spouses.

Quick list includes Amazon, Apple, Lyft, Citigroup, Door Dash, Chobani, Microsoft, Dick's Sporting Goods, Tesla, and Starbucks.

It will be interesting to see how many other major corporations provide this benefit to employees.

HISTORY: Roe v Wade falls
Something I haven't seen mentioned... One of the benefits of Roe being overturned will be the at least partial break up of a DNC money laundering scheme known as Planned Parenthood.

Simple. Pass a law that says women MUST be offered ACCESS to EC when seeking medical care after sexual assault. But no, the Left are only worried about their next election. Neither side has the high ground on pork in proposed legislation but please remind us of the last piece of Republican supported social legislation?

Absolutely, it has nothing to do with being "pro-life" and everything to do with misogyny, control and placating the zealots in the GOP base. Many of the states that are now rushing to ban abortion are also among the states that have refused to expand Medicaid, making care less available for those pregnant women they will now force to carry pregnancies to term. Texas being chief amongst them, with the highest number & percentage of uninsured people in the nation -

https://comptroller.texas.gov/economy/fi...nsured.php

If the GOP was really pro-life, they'd pair their abortion restrictions with programs to ensure adequate prenatal care is available along with support for raising the children that the state is forcing women to birth. But that would be expensive and make it harder to reduce taxes on corporations and the wealthy, so they'll likely just continue with their pro-fetus obsession.

The GOP just wants them born, after that they are on their own. If they have terrible lives it's just because their parents didn't work hard enough, and if they get mowed down by weapons of war in their elementary classrooms they will be the subject of many thoughts & prayers (since these are free, they don't interfere with cutting taxes).

Why is personal responsibility never a factor for you? Literally everything is somebody else's adult somehow.

Dude, you come on here with a BS answer to everything that nobody buys.

Republicans ended slavery and are doing their best to end the slaughter of unborn children.

Democrats are the party of human slavery and infanticide. Just own it.
