LMAO. Dude we all have heard you loud and clear. You just keep posting the same thing over and over. Maybe you should just quit following your school and this board since you have already given in and waved the white flag.

And yet you feel complied to reply and perpetuate. I will be happy to continue the discussion, if you wish. Why do you think the CUSA members will replace the departed three without any deterioration?

Where did I ever say that? There is no doubt the league will be weaker at the start and whether it’s able to bounce back we will have to wait and see. My point is that this is the hand that we have been handed, you can either cry about it, fold or step up and fight as hard as you can. I have been never the type in camp 1, so as a fan and supporter of my school I will support, root for my school and whichever conference it is in.

Crying about something you can’t change does no good.

That’s my point and with that continue to post your despair post is that what tickles your fancy, but to me that’s a sad life to live so I’ll pass.

I wonder if the AAC would allow UCF's men soccer to stay as an affiliate or will they have to join the SBC.

Because Houston and Cincinnati don't even play men's soccer? Do keep up.

<Sigh>

I JUST went thru several years of "old school" teams fans looking down on the newer programs with all kinds of angst and woe is me in CUSA. No matter some of those newbies had beaten those schools since joining, no matter we had more conference titles then they had during their tenure in the conference they sill wailed and moaned how we didn't deserve to be in the same conference with them simply because they had started 100 years before us and had some success in the 60's, 70's and early 80's.

I thought perhaps with the success of UCF being a younger team and moving up I would of escaped this here in the AAC. I vainly hoped that we would be welcomed for all the possibilities we had and that we could continue to elevate the conference.

And then I see these posts.

Look, I don't think ANY of the CUSA6 that are joining have said we are coming in and going to blow this place up. All were asking for is not to put us down just because we haven't been around that long. Many of us have had success in Football and Basketball. With more exposure and more money we should be able to keep improving and perhaps continue the AAC's push to be great.

So please. stop wailing that your doom is nigh.

I wouldn't worry too much about a single post/opinion, I remember Howard Schnellenberger, around 2001, saying that FAU athletics were built for the BIG EAST, FAU never actually made to the BIG EAST, but here you are... Welcome to the AAC, the rebranded BIG EAST.

Let's all just deal with it. No point in catty bull****. I've loved being in the AAC, but let's not kid ourselves. We've been the Triple A to the P5 since the league started. We're all trying to move up. Three teams got the call up and we brought in six teams to backfill. AAC knows more invites are likely to happen.

Nobody's at fault here. Just keep choppin' wood. The tree will come down eventually.
