Since LSU fired Will Wade, the Tigers have lost 11 players to the transfer portal, two players to the NBA draft and all four players committed in 2022 and 2023. They have zero scholarship players from this past season still on the roster.

Looks like an intriguing player. Only shot 25% from three last year though

Gaines was chaotic energy his two years in Baton Rouge. He may be wiry thin but he’s fast as hell and unbelievably athletic.

1/27/2022 - 2022 SG Efrem Johnson (6-4, -, 2★) has received an offer from UAB.

Khalifa's only other offer is Cincy which they offered him the same day AK did. As for Efrem he goes by Butta (Butta & Jelly has a ring to it) and his best offers right now are UAB, St. Bonaventure, Middle, UNCG, and ODU.Interest wise though he has been getting a lot of looks. Mississippi State transfer Javian Davis tells me that he has cut his list to the following programs:

Tennesse Tech
Jackson State
Morehead State
Murray State
Tulane

As mentioned above, here are the other schools in on him. He averaged 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12 minutes a game last year. He is 6-9, 240 but only shot 44% from the field (64% from the line).

He'd probably be Jemison's back up.

That dude can play. If you are a good basketball player at a school that doesnt have any NiL deals in place for you, you would be crazy to not at least explore transferring to one that can reliably set you up.
