He is an elite athlete, but that's about it. He has less offensive game than Jemison, and that is saying something.

And, that was the last time anyone saw him.

That's ridiculous haha.. Every college athlete has some sort of tendinosis/itis to some degree. It's not like it's some sort of debilitating plague that keeps you away from your teammates. I say good riddance.

Charlotte’s Jahmir Young is transferring, a source told @Stadium. Young averaged 19.6 points, almost 6 boards and 4 assists this past season at Charlotte. Big-time scorer. Young also intends to go through the draft process while maintaining his College eligibility.

I initially felt good about Gaines, but with his incredible athleticism and raw potential, I can see him ending up at a P5 school again. It's a shame, bc he has 3 years of eligibility and could really shine at UAB a la Ja Morant at Murray State. That's what a recruiter called him out of high school - "baby Ja Morant." I can see the comparison with the otherworldly athleticism and body frame.

I saw a UAB Sports instagram page and Twitter page report he was 99% confident that we had already gotten Gaines or that he was signing in the near future. The page has been right on everything else so far, but since then it's been radio silence

It had a retweet of Rothstein saying we were on the final list of schools for Javian Davis from Ms St., and then there was a post right after it saying "commitment soon." But nothing since then. I haven't seen the account I'm talking about say anything about Gaines.

I think I know the account you are talking about too. He posted this picture then in the comments seems almost certain, but then there hasn't been any comments or posts on Gaines since the 3rd
