I fully expect Northeastern to lose this one since its in our nature not to show up or choke in big games. Levi is probably the only player you have to worry about.
As for officiating, I dont think you'll get any good reviews from us! :-D
WMU should also worry about F Aiden McDonough. He’s among the leaders in the nation with 25 goals. He’s a true sniper…

Rates for return flights April 10 or 11th are four time greater than in bound flight.
Did you check PVD Providence/Warwick and Worcester does have an airport. Even MHT Manchester, NH is a possibility.

Was listening to a sports show on I-Heart Radio and conversation turned to college hockey. Sounds like the Gophers think they got the perfect draw, as they are already talking about the eventual re-match with Michigan in the Championship game. Such arrogant F---S!

RE: #3 Western Michigan versus #14 Northeastern
I found this stat from Schlossman article interesting and chilling:
"The NCAA men's hockey tournament has been anything but conventional in recent years. A No. 4 seed has beaten a No. 1 seed in the first round in 15-straight tournaments dating back to Holy Cross' upset of Minnesota in Grand Forks in 2006. The No. 16 overall seed has a .500 record against the No. 1 overall seed in the last six".
Maybe we don't want to be a #1 seed?

Yes, I did check all those, thank you. I'm just going to just watch the regionals from home and hopefully WMU advances to Frozen Four.
If they do and win their semi final, I'll fly out to Boston for the final and try to scalp some tickets. Cheap fights going to Boston, under $100, but they make up for it on the return flight, around $400.

I just want to see North Dakota beat ND, WMU beat Minnesota, and Denver or Duluth beat UM. Anything beyond that is house money.

The seeds don't really mean anything once action is underway. We, of all fan bases, ought to know that. Can't overlook anybody. There are no easy games and if you are looking ahead you will be beaten.
Have to win ONE before you can win two. Git 'er done, Broncos!

Just like in 2017 when everyone thought we had the best draw ever (which we did) and choked to Air Force. With the talent that team had, there is absolutely no reason that team should have lost to Air Force in round 1.

Only thing better/sweeter than AIC taking out Michigan in round 1 would be us beating them in the NCAA title game with most of the nation rooting for us.

I pay for ESPN+ and have the sports package with Spectrum/Charter but for F's sake I can't get ESPNU. What the holy H is going on?

Do a 7 day free trial on Sling or Fubo and I'm sure you can get ESPNU.

#1 Mankato won, #1 DU won, that leaves either #1 Michigan or #1 WMU to continue or break a 15 year trend.
I'm really nervous now.

It's just like the commercials about investment purchases always say......"past performance has no bearing on future results."
If we play our game we'll be ok. I know their goaltender has good numbers but no way are they Duluth.

Just realized Northeastern has 10 shutouts on the season I know they dont play the schedule like we do but thats still impressive.
