If we can go to the frozen four that will forever top everything for me including the MAC championship/ cotton bowl year.

I've been waiting for this for 48 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While we can't put the cart before the horse, I'm still holding out for a Michigan vs. Western Michigan National Championship game. We'd have half the country in our corner.

IF that would happen the way I envision it, it would be my top sports memory of all time.

Here's what I envision:

The Broncos start OK but of course the announcers are only talking about the "greatest college hockey team ever assembled" and Michigan takes a 3 - 1 lead into the third period. Broncos come alive and score 4 unanswered goals, causing the announcers to choke on it and finally give them their due as the best team in the land. (While the M team and their supporters cry at what might have been). The Detroit media finally realize that there is more than one really good college hockey team in the state and are forced to admit it and carry the good news for WMU.
