Too bad michigan isn’t coming to Lawson anytime soon. Given what happened the Lunatics would have something to say to those weak,frail arrogant cowards. Wonder if WMU has a medical protocol that dictates when,where and who we play? Maybe we can get in on this action and have our Medical School gin something up that we can use when needed.

Seems like a theme in the UM athletic dept. When you can't complete, you quit! Did it to OSU last year in Football when they were going to get pasted. Now to WMU Hockey when they were going to get pasted. Coward's way out!

They can have their players back since the IIHF and Hockey Canada derped so badly that the World Juniors just got cancelled.

A little Karma here? Players don't get to play with world juniors and they will also miss out on a GLI game....possible the following weekend also, depending on Team USA and USA/Canada Customs COVID protocols. It would be real funny if they are quarantine in Canada hotel rooms for 14 days with no hockey training..

If the NCAA National Tournament Selection Committee takes in account the Michigan game vs WMU and plugs in this game into the pair wise calculator as a 1-0 victory for WMU, as of today, WMU would move up from #5 to #3 (now a #1 seed) and drops Michigan from #4 to #9 (now a #3 seed). Other NCHC teams pairwise would also change:

DU #3 up #2
ND #2 down #4
Omaha #14 up #13

NCHC would have three #1 regional seeds! UMD is @ #5 either way, w/SCSU @ #7 either way.

The same 16 teams would be in, only some moves in seedings. I can't wait to do this again come conference tournament time.
