Tarleton didn't quite make it but still a great performance.
If we're doing upset alerts...NM Highlands 38 NMSU 39 a few minutes into the second half. One assumes NMSU will get serious and pull away.

Yes you are correct but a slightly difference with the schedules.

Switched to the Aggie game and NMSU ruined their beautiful court with all those stupid stickers. What’s up with that?

A cherrypicked stat to be sure :) . I believe it's still a temporary court because of humidity issues in the pan am. But I don't have espn+ and haven't found a good stream, so I can't be sure.

I was just kidding.
Is Jans not coaching or did he get kicked out? I believe James Miller is coaching.

Ha! You got me. He's out for covid protocols. Would have been his 100th win with the Aggies.

Even though we're coming up short, Tarleton is getting mucho respect. "Pack of junkyard dogs" is about right. All opponents we've faced so far look dead tired and glad the games over lol. Excited to see our guys put Monday's reffing clusterf*** behind them and show up to play all-out again in a tough environment. Very good sign of things to come.

We'll see if you guys have any legs left in January and February.

Listened to BCG’s post game comments and he confirmed IT’s words. Billy specifically mentioned the big guys coming on in practice which will turn into playing time. He talked about how tough Tarleton is and things are setting up really well for conference play.
I said it before and I will say it again, we will not finish 12th in the WAC as some have predicted.

Apparently the win still counts towards Jans' record. He is the fastest NMSU coach to 100 wins with the school; edging out Lou Henson by one game.

Utah Valley had 6 players in double figures tonight. Aimaq had 10 points and 16 boards. Connor and Blaze Nield lead them in scoring with 13 each.
Nicholls was down 22 at the half but cut that to 11 74-63. UVU now 5-1.

In a converted ballroom in the Hard Rock Resort in Cancun with about 43 people watching.
Which sounds better than the next thing CBS Sports put up, a tournament being played in a high school in San Juan Capistrano. More fans, but based on closer schools… which I guess is what Todor was talking about, and I’m not sure the capacity in Cancun with temporary bleachers isn’t larger.
Nothing against a game SFA here, just kind of done with the made-for-TV era.

I’m waiting for Tarleton to claim that they’re the best 1-5 team in the country :)

I thought SFA was good at basketball? It's a football school.

Chicago played at UCSB and Pacific home courts. Of course, with only 170 people at the Pacific game, it could have been played at a high s hool.

We don't have to claim it. The idea has obviously claimed real estate in your feeble little mind, and that's good enough for us.

Tarleton is too busy calling all the shots in the WAC. They don’t have time to make outrageous claims.
